Ansh Goyal's Review On G L Bajaj Institute Of Technology And Management, Greater Noida | collegedunia.com

Growing GL Bajaj

Remarks :

Admission to GLBITM can be taken via two modes, one is directly on the basis of the 12th board exam or via UPSEE, which is on the basis of JEE. The application forms can be found online. Reservation benefits allow students to get admission in the very low percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is defined by the University, which definitely needs upgradation but the college try to provide maximum exposure to student. There is an approx 20:1 faculty: student ratio. Teachers are qualified but only a few have a very good experience.

Internships Opportunities :

As of now, I personally haven't come across the internship phase, but as of my knowledge few students get on-campus internships but maximum have to take it off-campus. Small projects are made by students at end of every sem and major in finals.

Placement Experience :

The placements of our college are quite good compared to other AKTU Colleges. There has been a maximum of 58LPA package and an average of 7LPA, but most of the students get under mass recruitment. Companies visited include Palo Alto, Amazon, TCS, and others.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees per annum for the course is 1.5L per year and the hostel is another 1-1.8L per year. The scholarship gives a refund of Rs 60000 to students, generally fees are hiked and controlled by university approvals.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus used to be very poor, but the college is trying to improve it by organizing a few events. As of now, our college doesn't organize any annual fest. The library is only sufficiently equipped with books, as compared to other colleges which have multi-floor libraries. The classrooms are getting equipped with smart boards, but teachers hardly use them. Sports are very limited. The student club is E-cell, Shrinik Club, GDSC, Codespace, and other mechanical and electric clubs.

Placement Experience:

A placement year can give students inspiration for final-year projects and dissertations. It can also help develop your soft skills, such as being able to work in a team and the ability to solve complex problems, which are all valuable assets for both your academic and professional career, as Jasmine experienced.

Placement Experience:

The placement at my colleagues is good. We are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The companies that visited my college are Infosys, HCL, Dot square and many more. I don't have any information about that offers. The highest package of my college is 25 lpa and the average package of my college is 3 lpa. 70-80% of students get the placements. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i had chosen the CSBS course because .it is the new branch added in NIET by the TCS. the syllabus is totally designed by the TCS. There are nearly 100+ faculties and 5000 students including all courses. Most of the faculty are M.tech graduates and the rest are B.tech graduates .periodically after one month sessional exams are conducted and after six months the semesters are conducted. the exams are essays to qualify and the questions in exams come from the syllabus.
