Top 4th college of Maharashtra

Remarks :

The Eligible for B.Tech courses here, first of all, we have to crack mht cet. According to the score we get branches here. For getting IT branch here i scored 93.64 percentile and get this college in the 3rd cap round. If am an obc candidate I had to pay half the fees which are 43053 and the cut-off for the reserved category is also low as compared to the reserved category. The only change which I want in the admission process is that this college should take fees semester-wise and not all fees at the same time. It is difficult for middle-class people like us to pay whole fees at the same time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was my field of interest and also in today's world there is very much scope for a better carrier in the IT sector that's why I choose this branch. There is 750 total no. Of students in their first year. As compared to the number of students there is less no. Of faculty in the physics department remaining department has a sufficient no of faculty members. All the faculty members are well qualified and all the heads of departments are Ph.D. holders as this is a government college all the teachers get their job after passing government exams and interviews so there is no doubt about the qualification of the faculty. The dean of all the years displays the academic calendar before the academic session starts and all the exams and lectures are held here accordingly.

Internships Opportunities :

As I am. a first-year student I don't know about internship opportunities at the college. I didn't explore much internship opportunities at my college. But I listened to it from seniors that students from every branch get internship opportunities here.

Placement Experience :

From the 5th semester students fet placement opportunities here many companies like Adani, TCS, Wipro, etc visit here and provide a good amount of packages. The highest package this year was 52lpa and the average package is 4.5-5lpa Near about 90-95%students get placed here. I am planning to complete MTech after my B.Tech.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee of the college is 83053 for the open-category student. Students from reservation categories like obc, st sc. etc. get concessions in fees accordingly there are many scholarships for ST SC Category students OBC students also have scholarships such as the mahadbt Pragati scholarship for girls etc. There is very much good ratio of campus placement here. Students of all branches get placement in the college with good packages

Campus Life :

The annual cultural fest held here is Utsav and the tech fest name is Pragya. There is an annual sports event also named zenith in our college. Books of all types are available in the library. All the students of college get books from the college library students don't need to purchase books. Campus life is moderate here as there are soo many restrictions for boys and girls so that they don't meet god knows why our director sir wants to separate boys and girls from participating. together in anything, but for the annual fests, we get full-time permission to work together for the preparation. Rest campus life is best here our college has a very large playground for students. To encourage sports spirit among students there is an annual festival of sports named zenith geld in our college. There are many social clubs in our college such as Drishti, vatsalya, NSS, coadshef, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 5members in one room, All the members get a bed there is induction available, a geyser for bathing with hot water study hall, quick medical emergency facility. The meal quality of the mess is also very good all the dishes in the girl's hostel are veg boys get nonveg some. We get a feast also every 1 or 2 weeks. The food quality is very good The expense for a hostel is comparatively higher than another government college. All the registration for the accommodation of the hostel had to be done by online Registration.

Placement Experience:

In our college decent placement cell is created which is very effective in its work. Here the average package offered for computer engineering students is 2.5 lakh per annum and also for mechanical department it is almost 1.5 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. However Annu internships are offered for students here and they have to apply on their own in various companies for internship. In our college, almost 75 to 80% of students are placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in the CSE branch. But due to high cuts off, I was not able to get to the branch. But as all students from any branch can shift into the IT industry I was happy for an Electrical branch. Also, I can change the branch in the second year depending on the marks I will secure in the first year. The teaching faculty in this institute is excellent in teaching and all of them have completed their master's degrees. Some of the faculty have completed their Ph.D. and some are pursuing them. Their teacher's teaching method is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best thing about this college is its teachers. they are helpful in academics. I choose computer engineering because it's going to run for a long time and also have an interest in languages so I prefer it. the student ratio would be around 60/40 boys /girls. there are smartboards present for teaching and also many labs where students can go and sit there is no restriction which is one of the good points. for exams, there are mid and end sem per year and in between them there are in total of 4 unit tests conducted.
