The selection at DBIT, Kurla is based on the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the DTE of Maharashtra. Candidates must appear for the MH-CET and based on their performance on the test, candidates are assigned colleges in the counseling. Thus, those aspiring to apply at DBIT must secure an appropriate rank in order to be able to apply at DBIT through counseling. They can also apply through JEE Mains counselling.
Selection for the MMS course, the selection is based on merit, i.e. on the score and rank obtained on a centralized entrance exam like CAT/CMAT, thus aspirants must have a high score in such exams in order to be selected.
How to Apply?
For B.Tech:
- Candidates must register for the MHT-CET and appear for the examination.
- After the result declaration of MHT-CET aspirants must then be allotted DBIT based on the CAP.
- These candidates then must visit the college office and obtain the application form.
- The application form along with application fee of INR 1000 and the following documents must be submitted to the college office:
- CAP allotment letter.
- MHT-CET admit card.
- 10th and 12th Marksheet.
- Aadhar card.
- Domicile Certificate
- Caste Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Proof of Christian Minority(If Applicable)
They can also apply through JEE counselling held every year after giving the entrance exam of JEE Mains.
