6.6 /10

Remarks :

Students who had given entrance exams and merits are eligible Applications forms and links can be found on the official website of DU Reservations benefits: Benefits are provided to OBC, SC and ST students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course was ample for me to hons my skills and interests in theory research. faculty: student ratio is 1:30 All faculty members are masters and PHDs in their subjects and specialisations. Each year has 2 semesters, each semester has two internal exams

Internships Opportunities :

Several reputed companies from diverse sectors visit Miranda House for placements, including: Deloitte KPMG EY PwC Zomato Genpact IBM Wipro TCS HCL Technologies Apart from these, many other companies also visit the campus for placements, including startups, NGOs, and government organizations. The placement cell at Miranda House has a strong network of alumni and industry experts, which helps in connecting students with top employers and career opportunities.

Placement Experience :

In the last and second last semesters of the course, we can apply for placements at our college. The placement system is not satisfactory though. The percentage of students getting placed is low because this is research-based college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are to be paid annually. The fee is about 14000. There is no noticeable hike in fees. Fees are paid through online platforms. The scholarship is provided to students on the basis of their academic performance and their financial needs

Campus Life :

Campus life is pretty good. Beautiful campus, nice canteen. The college has an annual fest Tempest. the library is good with good books. sports is overall good. There are many social clubs and societies which provide good interactions

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen a master's of science (physics). Here in the school of physical science 39 faculty are there of which 19 teach physics and 44 strength students. All faculties are highly qualified and did a lot of research in their field. The timing of term exams was about 6 months but due to covid it got disturbed. Exam level you can say above moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the MSC physics course because I want to pursue it and go for research in physics. And jnu is one of the leading universities in India for both sciences and language courses. Faculty to student ratio is also good. They select only 40 students for the course. The faculties are top quality and they teach the topics in a very easy way and are the top researchers in their field and published many books. As our sem started out late so to manage according to the academic calendar semester duration was reduced to 2.5 months with one mid-sem and end-sem examination. It is not easy to score in the exams as faculties set a tough paper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a scientist and Jawaharlal Nehru university is one of the best platforms for that. The faculty is awesome, the professor did postdoctoral in their field. The teaching method is awesome because they connect abstract things by day to day life. The exam is not tough if you are disciplined with your syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are basically two examinations held every semester. Mid-term examination and end-semester examination. There are 4 semesters in total for this course. The level is up to the subjects. Some are difficult while some are moderate.

Placement Experience:

A lot of companies visit dtu campus for placements and students are eligible to sit for it in their final or pre-final semester of the course. Companies like Akash byju, Chegg, havells, Zigram, physics wallah have visited the campus for placements for various posts like research assistant, business analyst, project manager, and subject matter expert, etc. The highest package was around 15Lpa for the post of data scientist and average packages were more than 4lpa for the profiles like research assistant and subject matter expert. The placement ratio is not that bad as in my class 15-20 out of 55 got placed with decent salary packages. If you are really good with your subject knowledge and skilled enough, it is not that hard to get placed in dtu. As I have mentioned earlier I want to join FSSAI as a junior food analyst. FSSAI is my dream workplace and hopefully, I'm on my way to getting there probably soon.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum is not that light, it requires to be taken seriously throughout. Had done BSc in mathematics so automatically reflex was to pursue a master's in the same subject, that's why opted for it in the first place. But later realized we can do a lot more things with the same course apart from carrying on a Ph.D.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have a keen interest in maths. Faculty: student is 1:35. All the faculty members are well qualified and their teaching method varies individually. Some are very good at teaching while there is some average also. Term exams are conducted in 4 months and are not so difficult to pass.
