Remarks :

The eligibility of the course is that you have to score under 5000 approx. in JEE Advanced exam and it is not necessary to have a biology background to study this course. We need to qualify for JEE Advanced for getting a seat for this course. The changes in the counseling process are required as negligible changes occur from the 3rd round itself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I have a bio and maths background so I will be able to cope with the courses also I was not getting computer science so I choose college over a branch. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 15:1. It depends on the time to cover a particular course. If the professor has enough time he will try to explain it to everyone to the best ability but as the exam approaches the speed of the lecture generally increases causing difficulty in understanding.

Internships Opportunities :

Big companies like Google, Microsoft, and amazon visit this campus to provide placement to students but mainly most of the companies come to pick students of computer sciences, electrical and mathematics, and computing students other students face problems in placement either they have to be highly skilled or they have to try off campus for placements.

Placement Experience :

Students generally sit for placement at the end of the third year and try for an internship at the end of the second year. Around 70 percent of students get placed in campus placement whereas only 50 percent of students get internship opportunities here at IIT Delhi. My plan is to either pursue MBA from IIMs or get into an MNCs after completing my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are 238000 per year and if someone opts for a hostel he has to pay an extra amount of 60000. IIT also provides concessions in fees for economically weaker students' scholarship opportunities based on the CGPA of the student.

Campus Life :

The Rendezvous annual fest of IIT Delhi is conducted in March (a 4-day event) with various events and each day ends with a pro-night with renowned celebrities performing each say. Sports and extra circular activities are conducted very frequently. The inter-hostel tournament(GC) is hosted every year with each hostel taking part in it showcasing their talents in various sports.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are generally double or triple-shared for first-year students which becomes a single room in the third year, the food is different for each hostel and we are generally provided breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner also. Special items are made on a particular day which can be taken through extra messing.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible by the end of the third year. Students have been placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Myntra, and Hotstar but the number is less. On the other hand companies like Josh(10 LPA), Hashdien(8 LPA), and ZS associates(7.93 LPA) regularly visit the college. Almost 90-95 percent of students get placed for sure. Some opt for higher studies and other plans. Highest Package: Microsoft (41.86 LPA). Average Package: 7 LPA. My plan is to pursue a software development job after my degree in an MNC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the computer science branch as it is the most demanding branch in recent as well as for the future. There are 66 students in total in the class. Classes are divided into two batches for the lab. All the faculties are well qualified and most of them are Ph.D. holders or pursuing Ph.D. Well-supportive teachers can even ask your doubt personally when they are free. Exams are on time as it is followed by the notice from the university and you can pass the exam if you are a little attentive in class Or if you studied the important topics provided by the teachers.
