Remarks :

It was a PI process preceded by CAT. All the information was made available timely on the website and the admissions office coordinated the process flawlessly. The ER cell also provided mentors which were PGP students and were matched to our profile.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is diverse and provides holistic learning and we get an option to choose from a diverse set of electives across domains such as finance, consulting & strategy, operations, marketing, public policy, etc. and these courses are delivered by India's best faculty including India's chief defense secretary, eminent scientists, decorated academicians and even lectures by EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 1150000 per year

Placement Experience :

We have summer placements (first year), laterals, and final placements. The average and median were around 34.4 LPA last year with the majority of bat h getting into consulting and finance 100% students get placed. The Highest package was above 1 Cr.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It is evenly spread across two years with the bulk going towards tuition fees, hostel fees, alumni association fees, books fees, etc. A Plethora of scholarship opportunities is provided by the government, academia, and corporates to students of IIM C. The students of IIM C get the benefit of Need-based financial assistance from the admin.

Campus Life :

Best out of all IIMs undoubtedly with the best sports amenities and culture, the best library with millions of online and offline resources with a subscription to the best resources used by corporates which come in handy during research. We even have a trading lab equipped with NSE terminals. We have close to 40 clubs and interest groups apart from sports, cultural, alumni, External relations, and student council.

Hostel Facilities :

We have 4 hostels, 2 of which are Co-ed, the biggest hostel is LVH which stands for lake view hostel. Hostels have good infrastructure, a centralized air-conditioned hostel will soon be built (work started as much as I know) for 600 students. Mess is handled by the student council and menu changes frequently at the behest of student residents. The registration process is effortless, everything is taken care of beforehand.

Placement Experience:

Students have the opportunity to be placed beginning in the fifth trimester, aside from PPO from summer internship. Among the companies that have visited the university are Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase and Company, Flipkart, ITC, HUL, HSBC, CITI Bank, Goldman Sachs, Mckinsey, and DE Shaw. 200 candidates were hired. Tolaram offers an international package that starts at Rs. 80 lakhs and averages at Rs. 21 lakhs. Financial, sales, and marketing, consulting, international business, information technology, analytics, and trade profiles are available. I want to work for a reputable consulting company after I earn my degree, such as Mckinsey, Ernst & Young, or Optum.

Guy with 5 years gap in the B-school

Placement Experience:

There is quite a stark distinction between IIFT's Kolkata and Delhi campuses. There are close to 25 companies that visited exclusively the Delhi campus for placements. Nonetheless, the Kolkata campus did witness good companies such as McKinsey, Microsoft, JPMC, BCG, GS, etc.

IIFT; Cracking the test and the Life beyond

Placement Experience:

The college follows the legacy placement processes for both the summer and final placements. The most recent data depicts the average summer internship stipend to be 263000 for the period of 2 months and 25,16,000 for the final placement offers. The highest stipend stood at 3,75,000 for 2 months and 80,00,000 for the final placements from an international firm. The college has seen 100% placements.
