Niharika's Review On International Management Institute - [IMI], New Delhi | collegedunia.com

Good private b school

Remarks :

Eligibility is graduation and entrance exam. The admission process consisted of the interview which was of an intermediate difficult level. The entrance exam considered was CAT. The cutoff is higher than the 85 percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is well-designed. Faculty members are some of the most renowned faculties in management with PHDs from IIMs and IITs. The teaching method includes class discussions, presentations, group projects, and case study discussions

Internships Opportunities :

Multiple companies visit the campus for summer placements. All the students are to be placed in an internship program as it has credits involved. In the HR program all the roles were offered in the HR domain only.

Placement Experience :

Placements are offered on campus. Big brands and well-established companies visit the campus. The details of the placement scenario can be seen in the placement report or by contacting members of the placement committee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure is in line with most business schools in the country. Kind of expensive but worth the college's reputation and faculty at IMI. Scholarships are available for top students in the second year. Fees increase slightly each year

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is like what you will expect from any b school. Hectic, exciting, there's always something you have to do. The infrastructure is average, classes are built well, and course material is provided.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is for both boys and girls. There are multiple buildings for a hostel but the number of rooms is less, it is on an FCFS basis. The food served is satisfactory and there's also a canteen facility which is a favourite among IMI students.

Interview Experience :

There was an interview process taken by the faculty at IMI. The questions were ranging from academic background to work experience to general knowledge to hobbies or upon your answers they may ask you further relevant questions.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really very good. the average package is 25 lakhs which are quite good if we talk about top MBA colleges. The highest package is offered by Trade companies which is about 80 lakhs at the Dubai location, followed by Trident, Amazon, Microsoft etc. 100% placements are there. My plan is to work for 5-6 years at a reputed firm and then go for a start-up.
