Remarks :
The admission process is seamless as in other colleges of Delhi University. If anything is to be improved, it is the overall time taken in the admission process. The admission process should be fast.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose b.com because it is simple and there is enough time to prepare for other government exams. The college follows the curriculum provided by Delhi University. the faculty is qualified enough and most of them have years of experience in teaching. They follow simple methods of teaching and are always ready to help. The faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40. There are two-semester exams every year and the exams are easier to crack even with little knowledge of the subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the internship offers are from small companies and startups. Roles such as marketing intern, content writer, managing intern, etc are offered. Stipend ranges from 2000 to 10000. On top of that students also gain a lot of valuable experience through these internships. projects and tasks given to the students are fairly simple and easy to do.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees are minimal at 13000 per annum. The college follows the fee policy of Delhi University and there are no fee hikes and no payment is taken for any other service. There is a large number of scholarships and financial assistance available for students who don't have good financial conditions. There are a lot of internship opportunities with an appropriate stipend ranging from 2000 to 10000 per month and it is easier to get selected for an internship job for anyone willing. However, there are very few placement opportunities for students after passing out.
Campus Life :
The college is situated in one the best areas of Delhi. It has one of the best infrastructures of all colleges of Delhi University. The campus is well-maintained and clean. There is a big library with almost all subject books, journals and novels available. There are a lot of social clubs which suit every hobby and activity like dance, drama, singing etc. The classrooms have suitable seating space and are also well maintained. However, there are very less sports activities or competitions in this college which is disappointing. There is a grand annual fest and many small fests organised by different clubs and departments for the students. Overall student life at this college is very enjoyable.
