IIT Bombay ki Sachai

Remarks :

There is only one way you can make your way to IITs in B.Tech program and that is through JEE. First, you have to give and clear JEE Mains and after that, you have to sit for JEE advanced and then after clearing it, you will get your college and branch according to your rank and preferences. Physics, chemistry and Maths of 11th and 12th are asked in JEE. You will easily find JEE mains form on the NTA website and the Advanced form on www.jeeadvanced.in website. Coming to the reservation, you can avail it as per the rules like there are some seats reserved for OBC and SC/ST students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I want to do engineering and mechanics is one of the fields which excites me a lot, so I chose this branch. There is sufficient no. of facilities and are highly qualified. All of them have done PhDs and are specialists in their field. Their teaching method is superb. They conduct regular quizzes, assignments and exams. Exams are not that difficult to pass. If you have studied well, you can easily score and secure decent grades.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internship opportunities you will get here. You can choose whatever field you like for example finance which I personally like very much or software or AI/ML, etc. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Optiver, reliance, etc. come and provide internships. Most companies give good to decent stipends. Just one thing that I don't like is not all students can get a good internship. Around 50 to 60 per cent of people are able to make it from the campus and others have to do applying and other stuff for getting internships.

Placement Experience :

There are campus placement opportunities in the college. About 95-98 percent of the students got placed in the companies. Numerous companies came for placement like Microsoft, Google, optiver, reliance, etc. The highest package is in crores and the average package is around 17-18 lakhs. I am planning to secure a good package job after my degree and then maybe go for MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Generally, fees in engineering colleges are so high and that is the case here also. But you will easily get a scholarship based on your family income. Some of the most popular scholarships are Named, MCM, remission of fees, etc. Apart from this, you can also get interest-free loans by talking to Dean. We can be teaching assistants for some profs in their courses in which we get a stipend of around 21000 per semester. Apart from that you can also do some remote internships for getting a stipend.

Campus Life :

All of the above facilities are available here. Many fests are organised in the institute like Techfest, Mood Indigo and E-Summit which are generally conducted in the month of December and January. You will get most types of books in the library. There is a very good culture of sports and extracurricular. In fact, we have many competitions between hostels for sports, culture and other things which we call general championship (GC). You might have heard about it in a movie named chhichhore. Apart from these, there are many clubs and tech teams run and managed by students who do their work at a big level.

Hostel Facilities :

There are several hostels in the institute. You will be allotted hostels and you will get almost all the basic facilities you would need. We have a 24×7 water and electricity supply. You will have 1 room partner with you but both of you will get different beds. The mess menu is very awesome. In fact, they are prepared by students only and you can always give your suggestions there. Food quality is above average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am passionate so I opt for Computer Engineering. Watumull institute WIEECT's firstly college in the world shifted to Ulhasnagar in 2017. They currently operate Computer and EnTc department . Faculty members, teachers, staff and all others are very good in this college. Teachers teach nice and quality teaching here than in other colleges. Mostly fe teachers and the Cs branch have great faculty. Exams conducted in college are with due respect, no copying is done here on a strict basis.

There are approximately 400 companies came for placement and 2500 offer has been made this year. The highest offer given is about 4 Cr and lowest is 8 lac per annum, and the average is approx 25 lac. The highest offer is given for tech profile and the average is given for product management and consultant, and data scientist. Approximately 85% of students get placed this year that include B.tech and M.tech. Coming to my interests and plan I want to get a job in my B.tech only.

But very few of the core engineering Branch students are able to get it since no of companies for core branches is quite low.

Placement Experience:

The average package u receive here is 50000 and the highest can go up to 1200000. But if u are skilled enough and did an internship and have better skills it can increase up to 1600000. Nearly 90% of students get placed and sometimes the highest package may drop but colleges try to get each and every student placed.
