Remarks :

The eligibility of the course is it will consider JEE mains and 10+2 marks into consideration for nonlocal and local students. When comes the application form is enabled on the college website and application fee will vary from gender to gender. Reservation is given only to the students from districts around Thanjavur. remaining will be given all in rank(AIR). The admission process is very good and there is no doubt to judge the University in this condition.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is my passion to choose Ece and to develop my skills with the help of SASTRA university which has a good infrastructure. Faculty are very friendly and cooperate with students in any situation they have personal mentors and guides. Every faculty is a Ph.D. holder. For every semester we have 3 midterm exams in which internals will be taken best of 2 midterm exams. It is better to write 1st two midterm exams very seriously.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college has the tigh up with many companies and also with drdo which has research opportunities and also it has a semester abroad program which sends students from our campus to foreign colleges for research.

Placement Experience :

Campus Placements are good and have good packages and also many multinational companies are coming to visit the campus with higher packages. It also has a high placement percentage during the recession also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee will vary from year to year. For 1st year you have to pay 82000 including all charges like sports and library and so on. after that no charges. When it comes to scholarships we have a dean merit scholarship which is proved to top candidates.

Campus Life :

The campus is amazing and awesome and the physics department is very much interested in taking the students to participate extra curricular activities and participate in college-level competitions and organize an indoor game on campus.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel life is very good but we don't have non-veg items on the menu because the college running by vysyas and they have some traditions of not using Non-Veg inside of campus and the hostel. But they will give outings on Sundays.

Hostel Fee : INR 75000 per year

Interview Experience :

No we don't have any GD or written tests for admission. The admission is purely based on JEE mains and Intermediate marks which will be shortlisted by the Management f sastra deemed to be the university itself.

Cit has provided me with a great opportunity to explore the core fields of biomedical engineering through weekly hospital visits to Sri Ramachandra Hospitals, Apollo Hospital,Deepam Hospital.As well as i have visited Various healthcare companies like AMTZ Vishakapattinam phoenix Medical system Siemens Biovision medical system. I could seamlessly get placed in a well-renowned company named Stryker with a salary package of 8 lakhs. This was possible because of the knowledge I perceived during my core placement and training.

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the students are allowed to attend the placement as well as allowed to attend the internship. Most of the my friend attend internship with stipend. Nearly 40 percentage of people got placed during this academic year. The recuriting companies are mobase electronics, pinnacle, vinisinfo, edveon, namalatech etcc. Highest package is 6 LPA Average package is 2.5 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

every class will have 60 students For cse 5 sections will be there, the first thing is it's college, not your 11th std so you have to approach your faculty by yourself they will not spoonfeed you. but believe me, if you approach faculty they will interact with you. for every subject 60 hrs of classes will be there in one semester, I am studying in the information technology branch subjects provided in this branch are industry oriented will make you ready for learning new technologies. for every semester three mid-term exams will be there out of these three mid-term exams two best will be considered for internals which will be added to your semester exam .this means 50 percent of marks will be taken from your two best mid-term exams and another 50 percent will be taken from your final semester exam. for every month mid-term exam will be conducted. lab-based papers will also be there these lab papers are one-credit based. every week lab will be conducted. faculty will be very interactive and reachable.
