Remarks :

Sastra is really good at providing quality education. sastra has good infrastructure and transparency in placements. The present procedure of the admission process is really good, no need for any kind of improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose ece with specialization in cyber-physical systems because it involves both cyber components and physical components. It is really very much more interesting than ece core. Faculty to student ratio is 8:20.curriculum is as per the requirement. Every faculty is a PhD professor. for every month there will be a continuous internal assessment test. the paper level is moderate, but the correction is strict.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The mini project is done in the 6th semester and the capstone project u will start doing in your 7th semester. The faculty will give good guidance and help you in every possible aspect. From the 5th semester onwards companies will offer internships but only one or two companies. From the 6th semester onwards most of the companies will offer internships.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students will be eligible for campus placements. Students with more than a 7.5 cgpa and with no arrears are eligible for campus placements. The highest package is 24 lacs per annum and the average package I 8 lakhs per annum.80 per cent of the Students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee per semester is 80000 and for every semester fee varies. scholarship opportunities are not more. Ece students will get internships or scholarships only from the 6th semester. 2 or 3 companies will come for internships in the fifth semester.

Campus Life :

There are many clubs and clusters in sastra, which help students to be active and participate in them. plasma compendium is a club, which helps people who required emergency blood. There are many other clubs, that help people in need during natural calamities.

Cit has provided me with a great opportunity to explore the core fields of biomedical engineering through weekly hospital visits to Sri Ramachandra Hospitals, Apollo Hospital,Deepam Hospital.As well as i have visited Various healthcare companies like AMTZ Vishakapattinam phoenix Medical system Siemens Biovision medical system. I could seamlessly get placed in a well-renowned company named Stryker with a salary package of 8 lakhs. This was possible because of the knowledge I perceived during my core placement and training.

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the students are allowed to attend the placement as well as allowed to attend the internship. Most of the my friend attend internship with stipend. Nearly 40 percentage of people got placed during this academic year. The recuriting companies are mobase electronics, pinnacle, vinisinfo, edveon, namalatech etcc. Highest package is 6 LPA Average package is 2.5 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

every class will have 60 students For cse 5 sections will be there, the first thing is it's college, not your 11th std so you have to approach your faculty by yourself they will not spoonfeed you. but believe me, if you approach faculty they will interact with you. for every subject 60 hrs of classes will be there in one semester, I am studying in the information technology branch subjects provided in this branch are industry oriented will make you ready for learning new technologies. for every semester three mid-term exams will be there out of these three mid-term exams two best will be considered for internals which will be added to your semester exam .this means 50 percent of marks will be taken from your two best mid-term exams and another 50 percent will be taken from your final semester exam. for every month mid-term exam will be conducted. lab-based papers will also be there these lab papers are one-credit based. every week lab will be conducted. faculty will be very interactive and reachable.
