My college tour

Remarks :

Well in the year, when I was trying to get admitted to college the process of admission is quite simple. The eligibility of the course all depends on the cut-off that the officials were released all the matter was done with merit. You can find the application form on Du's website www.du.ac.in. after submitting your application to your chosen college where your marks are all set up for your favorite course and college then the college would accept your application then there's a link to the final fee submission and then your admission is approved. If you belong to any reserved category then there is much more opportunity for you to get admission in college because there's a reservation for reserved or quota holder students, in Du we can see the reservation of women too. The process of admission is quite easy but all I want to see as an improvement is, students who don't know about the criteria and don't have any idea to use the internet belongs to the Village area need to be focused on by the University and give them help

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a B.A. Hindi honors enrolled students and I chose this course because I want to become a government officer Hindi is a major subject in my competitive exam journey so it helps me to prepare better for my upcoming govt. Exams The faculty ratio is quite a good professor is well educated and Ph.D. degree holder from JNU and other top-ranking universities. The student ratio is also quite good as the crowd is well-maintained and literate. Some students belong to other states. The professors are Ph.D. degree holders and well-educated and well-behaved toward students. the teaching method is also quite good and fluent in their master's subject. The BA degree is for 3 years and every year till graduation, there are 6 semesters. Every year there is 2 semester so there are six exams that you have to pass to get your degree at last. The exam is moderate as you study well course focus on your books and class lectures ask doubts from the teacher and you definitely crack them with great CGPA or marks

Internships Opportunities :

There is a placement cell and an entrepreneur cell in this college where you can get placement through college in reputed companies like tata Steel, decathlon, Flipkart, and many more. Many HR from many companies come to hire students and give them job opportunities right after their graduation. There is a basic interview as per company demand or their HR's demand. They also conducted some kind of test before the interview just for their intelligence. In college, there's also an internship cell that gives you the opportunity to do an internship in a reputed firm and boost your resume after mentioning their completion certificates it helps you to grow further in the future. And is looking quite attractive in cooperation world. The internship and placement cell is really very helpful for students to get employment right after their degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is also normal for students as it is around 7990 every year. There is a late fee submission cost but it is nominal as 50 rupees around. We can see the same fee discount or relaxation for reserved students or ews students. The cost of the study is quite normal or very affordable. Well, I'm not registered for any scholarship in my college as I am in my last year of college I don't get any placement yet.

Campus Life :

The annual fest in college known as mehak basically it is conducted in February month with the contribution plays of all society's presidents and members. Sometimes Bollywood singers for performing. The books are easily available as there are many books shops outside the college. the infrastructure is very small and not so well conducted the classrooms are also not well maintained and the charging spots are not always working it is very disappointing. The college has no playground as the college infrastructure is so small there are no sports available to play on the ground or inside the college. The campus life is quite good all depend on your friends' circle the biggest circle you made the more fun you get. There is plenty of societies too as you can join them as per your interest all are available. As per your work and hardships, they awarded you with certificates and give you some posts in society as it will help you to mention them in your CV and boost your skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Philosophy as a discipline offers a unique way to enhance your understanding and outlook towards the world. It opens up our minds and transforms us into thinking being. Thus, I opted for the course. The faculty is quite experienced and very humble. The ratio of faculty to students is optimum as Philosophy Honours is a relatively newer course at Hansraj College. The curriculum too is well designed, though some absurdities do exist. Examinations do not have a very heavy bearing as the number of papers is at a maximum of 5, thus giving ample time throughout the semester to prepare and develop a good understanding of the subject

For placement, my college is not good. also, it varies according to the course and academic background of the student. placement for BA is not so good here. I would pursue a master's after getting this degree and will apply for teaching jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to prepare for UPSC and By opting BA Programme in History & Political Science it helped me a lot in clearing all the basic knowledge of the subjects. The faculty Student ratio was 100:1 or 60:1 sometimes because of the extra strength of students. All the faculty members are well-qualified Ph.D. scholars. But their teaching methods are not as per the expectations of the Delhi University north campus faculty. Because of the covid era, we gave open book examinations in our 1st and 3rd semesters which was more than easy.

The placement cell of our college provided internship opportunities throughout the year and its easily manageable to work while studying. The placements are mostly wfh and the avg salary is 15-30k a month (for internships) . I'm not really aware of the job placements because I'm in the first semester but it's constantly improving and we're looking forward to great companies accompanying us

Placement Experience:

Collage has its placement cell which is known as the TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL, and it provides Placements from the 3rd year. It also provides an internship every month. In the last 3 years, I think the college got around 10 to 12 lac per annum as the highest package. A good amount of percentage of students gets Placement from college. I will go for my higher studies.

From 3rd year to 6th semester, a student generally becomes eligible for placement. Companies like Nestle and Wipro have visited our college for placement. I am not quite aware of the accurate package. But yeah you got a very decent package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam time was good plus nervous for the freshers. But once you get the idea you know how to deal with it. The faculty was accommodating according to the student ratio. Our English faculty was a family to us. The lectures were awesome and we got leaders in terms of our professors. The teaching methodology is everyone's own. The professors were quite supportive and helpful. Semester-based exams were conducted.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of CVS is really very active in order to provide the best company's JD to students for internships and jobs. I am in a college Internship group and a daily minimum of 2-3 Internship opportunities we get in the group for different departments like business development intern, HR, etc. Final-year students can seat in placements. On average package goes up to 6-7 lakh. The highest package was 10,00,000 which one student got from our college. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, etc. come to college for placements. 70-75% of students got placed in the college itself. If I talk about my plans then I will pursue M.A. (Hons.) Economics, after my under graduation, and side by side I will prepare for Indian Economics service too.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good at the minimum LPA that goes is 6LPA and the maximum so far has been 23 LPA. All reputed companies come to Miranda to recruit kids and are always satisfied with it. I plan to go for an MBA degree after my undergrad even though I have been placed.
