Remarks :

This year a new examination was introduced to take admission to various central universities including DU. This examination was CUET ie Common University Entrance Test. It was conducted by NTA. This examination contains 3 sections 1 - Language, 2- Domain subject, and 3- General test. To take admission to DU you have to appear in 3 domain subjects and that should match your 12 subjects. Each domain subject was 200 marks and the syllabus was 12 NCERT. The examination was held in CBT mode which is a computer-based test. So for DU total marks were 800 and if you are scoring above 500 then you must get into a good college of DU.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This year BA has changed into a 4-year course. There will be a total of 8 semesters. 2 each year. And it's not difficult to pass the examination if you have attended the lecture given by your respective professor.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies come to our college to hire students. There are better chances of placements. I am not aware of the specific name of the company. Bcom graduates and those who are pursuing BSc have better chances of placements

Placement Experience :

Actually, I am a new student so I don't have much idea about this topic but after discussing it with my seniors and professors many companies do come to our college to hire their employees. There are better chances of placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is very nominal as it is a central university. Anyone can afford it. There is a good opportunity for placements. Companies do come to the college campus. A lot of scholarship forms are there. You can apply for that. Internship courses are also there.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of active societies in the college. Like drama society music, dance and many societies related to general awareness. There is a youth parliament where debates took place on burning issues. There is one society named Moksh and this is a drama society. You can enhance your inner talent and can follow your passion by joining these societies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Philosophy as a discipline offers a unique way to enhance your understanding and outlook towards the world. It opens up our minds and transforms us into thinking being. Thus, I opted for the course. The faculty is quite experienced and very humble. The ratio of faculty to students is optimum as Philosophy Honours is a relatively newer course at Hansraj College. The curriculum too is well designed, though some absurdities do exist. Examinations do not have a very heavy bearing as the number of papers is at a maximum of 5, thus giving ample time throughout the semester to prepare and develop a good understanding of the subject

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to prepare for UPSC and By opting BA Programme in History & Political Science it helped me a lot in clearing all the basic knowledge of the subjects. The faculty Student ratio was 100:1 or 60:1 sometimes because of the extra strength of students. All the faculty members are well-qualified Ph.D. scholars. But their teaching methods are not as per the expectations of the Delhi University north campus faculty. Because of the covid era, we gave open book examinations in our 1st and 3rd semesters which was more than easy.

The placement cell of our college provided internship opportunities throughout the year and its easily manageable to work while studying. The placements are mostly wfh and the avg salary is 15-30k a month (for internships) . I'm not really aware of the job placements because I'm in the first semester but it's constantly improving and we're looking forward to great companies accompanying us

Placement Experience:

Collage has its placement cell which is known as the TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL, and it provides Placements from the 3rd year. It also provides an internship every month. In the last 3 years, I think the college got around 10 to 12 lac per annum as the highest package. A good amount of percentage of students gets Placement from college. I will go for my higher studies.

From 3rd year to 6th semester, a student generally becomes eligible for placement. Companies like Nestle and Wipro have visited our college for placement. I am not quite aware of the accurate package. But yeah you got a very decent package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam time was good plus nervous for the freshers. But once you get the idea you know how to deal with it. The faculty was accommodating according to the student ratio. Our English faculty was a family to us. The lectures were awesome and we got leaders in terms of our professors. The teaching methodology is everyone's own. The professors were quite supportive and helpful. Semester-based exams were conducted.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of CVS is really very active in order to provide the best company's JD to students for internships and jobs. I am in a college Internship group and a daily minimum of 2-3 Internship opportunities we get in the group for different departments like business development intern, HR, etc. Final-year students can seat in placements. On average package goes up to 6-7 lakh. The highest package was 10,00,000 which one student got from our college. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, etc. come to college for placements. 70-75% of students got placed in the college itself. If I talk about my plans then I will pursue M.A. (Hons.) Economics, after my under graduation, and side by side I will prepare for Indian Economics service too.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good at the minimum LPA that goes is 6LPA and the maximum so far has been 23 LPA. All reputed companies come to Miranda to recruit kids and are always satisfied with it. I plan to go for an MBA degree after my undergrad even though I have been placed.
