IIT Goa will be a better option for joining CSE. It was under the mentorship of IIT Goa and a good coding culture is slowly developing on campus. - IIT Dharwad- It currently functions in a transit campus hence all facilities cannot be availed as of now but the proposed campus is supposed to be spread across 400 acres and full of ample opportunities for students. Electrical labs are an essential part of the course but since this is the transit campus, labs are not completely equipped.
NIT Surathkal or NITK is one of the premier engineering institutes of the country and has a strong alumni network and industry connect. Training sessions are even organised by industry giants like IBM, CoCubes. IIT Dharwad being a new institute needs time and resources to make its mark.
