What is the scholarship at SVNIT?

Scholarships are available for both Hostel payments or Institute fees. Another mode is through the Alumni Association, where two individuals contribute money solely for female students.

• The sum provided to students is determined by the Institute's total budget for that academic year.
• The Administration determines the total sum for different activities from that budget.
• The total budget for the 2015-16 session was 1 crore, of which about 30 lakhs were allocated for scholarships, which were distributed in amounts ranging from 30 thousand to 15 thousand rupees. The process involves an interview with a panel of faculty and council members and the verification of required documents, based on their need for tuition money.

Whatever the budget, it will not be enough to meet the needs of all poor students because the fee structure has increased dramatically, which is the sad part of it.
