Any score over 200 on the IPM Aptitude Test is generally considered to be safe. However, those with a score of roughly 180 are also invited to the PI round. In order to increase your chances of converting calls, you must work to maximize your aptitude test score.

IIM Indore IPM requires sectional IPMAT Cutoffs other than the general IPMAT cutoff. Therefore, it's crucial to perform well in each section.

There will only be 2 subjects in the IIM Indore IPMAT:

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Verbal Ability

It is advised that you take both exams. In both exams, the verbal portion is largely the same. The sectional cut-off and overall cut-off are difficult to determine because they depend on a number of variables.

The IPM test consists of 100 MCQs having 60 questions in the quant section and 40 in the verbal ability section. The cut off is calculated based on the following formula-

  • Score in Quantitative Ability Section = 60*Candidate score - Min. score/ Max. score - Min. score
  • Score in verbal ability = 40*Candidate score - Min. score/ Max. score - Min. score
  • Total Aptitude Test Score= Sum of above scores (max 100)

The highest and the lowest scores are scored by candidates from eligible sections. In 2019 the overall cut off score was 210/400 for the general category.

The category wise cutoff are as follows:
