How are girls’ hostels in IIT BHU? How many girls are in one room?

A new Girls’ Hostel was constructed recently and has been allotted to all the girls except for the first-year undergraduates. This is the largest hostel in the whole campus. It has six floors and is equipped with all the contemporary facilities. There are two girls in each room. The rooms are spacious enough for two people to stay. There are two cupboards, two beds, two tables and two chairs in each room. Apart from that, this hostel has a lift facility, and there’s a mess on the ground floor. All the students from 2nd year onwards including students of M.Tech and Ph.D. are allotted this hostel at IIT(BHU) from this year onwards. That’s about the latest construction and the best hostel on campus. 

The hostel allotted to the fresher girls is S.C. Dey. It’s quite an old construction and doesn’t have facilities as excellent as the other hostel. But on the brighter side, this hostel has vast lawns. The rooms are 2-seater over here. The rooms are allocated branch-wise in here. Each room has two cots, two tables, two chairs, a tube light, and a fan. Two shelves are available for use, one of them comes with doors, and the other is open.
