In terms of academics and placements, Anna University is decent. The university has eight faculties and 30 departments. It offers UG, PG, and doctorate courses. It has collaborated with 37 international universities for student exchange programs.

Anna University placements are good. Ashok Leyland, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the campus placements. During the recent placement drive, students received an average CTC of around INR 7 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 36 LPA.

Anna University is a public state university. They have 3 regional campuses at Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, and Madurai, 12 constituent colleges, and 593 affiliated colleges. Here are some facts about it:

  • The university has some of the best faculty members. They are enthusiastic and extremely cooperative.
  • The syllabus lacks a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved.
  • Anna University exam schedule is a bit too pressurizing for the students.
  • Being a state government university 90% of the seats are reserved for Tamilians. If you are from northern parts of the country, it might take you some time to get adjusted to the environment, food and culture.
  • Anna University Placement is really good with top companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, IBM and Infosys taking part in their placement programs.

They impart knowledge and take part in building a knowledge-driven society. Not only academics, Anna University also encourages students with extracurricular activities and makes sure they get the proper holistic development as well.
