I can never stop emphasizing this, no matter how many options you have always go for the one that gives you the IIT tag.
I am not saying Engineering colleges like NSIT and DTU aren’t good but they are in the developing phase while IIT Jodhpur is in its developing phase. This means it will only get better. Despite being a new IIT, its average package this year was recorded at INR 21.30 LPA, which is a great feat for a new college.
Additionally, IITs receive more funding from the government to provide better research and project opportunities. Specifically speaking about CSE, this year the highest INR 56 LPA was bagged by BTech CSE. The placement percentage stood at 97% while the average package for CSE was recorded at INR 23 LPA.
DTU and NSIT may have higher placement statistics but they lack what IIT Jodhpur offers, the most coveted IIT tag! So choose wisely.
Both, Amity University Online (DDE) and Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) are very good institutes for doing distance MBA and you cannot go wrong with either of them. You should keep in mind that SCDL has AICTE approval and not UGC approval while Amity University Online is UGC approved and accredited by NAAC.
I have a few friends at Amity University, so I can give you a brief insight into the MBA program offered by the institute.
Recognition-
Rankings-
Specialization-
The university aims to impart knowledge and skills required by students to compete in the corporate world through a rigorous 2-year program. It has 14 different specializations to choose from. These are listed below –
It is tough to answer which is best as in an online and distant MBA course, the course pedagogy and specialization is more important than other factors such as campus amenities, facilities, placements, etc. As for the universities, you can choose either of them.
You should consider NDIM in New Delhi as the best option among the four colleges: Asia Pacific in New Delhi, IMS in Ghaziabad, and IBS in Gurgaon. Although all of these colleges offer similar academic programs and job placements, NDIM is known to be more cost-effective and highly sought after by organizations. The fee for the PGDM program at Asia Pacific is approximately 10.2 lakhs, whereas the fee for IMS is 10.3 lakhs, and for IBS Gurgaon is 11 Lakhs.
On the other hand, NDIM's program fee is only 9.3 lakhs. Additionally, the industrial environment in New Delhi will provide you with numerous job opportunities and projects.
Comparing the fundamentals, you should go for NMIMS. Firstly because RGIT is recognized under the University of Mumbai and there are several institutes under the same university that follow the same curriculum. It impacts the recruiting process.
On the other hand, NMIMS is deemed to be a university and is established under the act of UGC, helping it make the rules and regulations quite a lot flexible to any upcoming changes in accordance with the industrial standpoint.
It technically means that they are exposed to variation in course patterns as per the industrial standards. The stats of both institutes are as mentioned below,
Institutes |
NMIMS, MPSTME |
RGIT, Mumbai |
Highest Salary Package |
INR 27.07 LPA |
8.4 LPA |
Average Salary Package |
INR 6.65 LPA |

These are recent stats of both institutes that might help you differentiate. Hope this helps you.
My brother has studied at IMI Bhubaneswar and it's the best because of its brand value. It is a new and upcoming institute with IMI Delhi’s reputation and brand value.
The following points explain a brief overview of the institutes:
Now, the difference to be highlighted in the degree is that FMS BHU will give you an MBA degree whereas, IMI will give you a PGDM degree; although this is not a huge difference you might choose an MBA over a PGDM program.
So, finally, the choice lies with you because both institutes are quite similar in academics, facilities, and opportunities. It will definitely not create a huge impact if you choose one over the other.
Both IIEST and NIT Sikkim are excellent institutes for engineering in India. There are several aspects in which one of the two institutes is ahead of the other. The points below elaborate on those factors for both the institutes to give a brief overview of both the campuses.
Overall, both the colleges are decent in their own aspects, providing several opportunities to students in fields of placement and research. It is on you to do good research about both, observe the key highlights, and then make a decision.
Yes, both VIT Pune and VIIT Pune are completely different colleges. Both have been established under the flagship of the prestigious VIT Group of Institutions. VIT and VIIT are a part of the same Management working under different names but are different colleges.
Both the colleges are owned by the Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal charitable trust VIT is its main Campus and is better rested than VIIT. It’s located in Bibwewadi, Pune. VIIT is its secondary campus and is also autonomous. It has been ranked among the top engineering institutes in Pune, MH, but less rated than VIT. It’s located in Kondhwa, Pune.
Obviously, VIT is among the top colleges in Pune and is much better than VIIT, especially in terms of placements. It also offers more exposure through activities like Robotics, Sports, or cultural or technical fest.
Hope this helps you!
Both JU and IIIT-A have their own set of strengths and weaknesses. Here are a few strengths of each to help you determine which institution to finally opt for
Thus, both JU and IIIT-A are good options for you to consider.
B.E. CSE program at JU can be compared with B.Tech IT program at IIIT-A to reach the conclusion.
One of my friends is an alumnus of KIIT School of Rural Management. So, I am going to share the details as per his experience.
MBA (RM):
The MBA (RM) program is divided into four semesters and field segments. The fee and placements information is given below.
Fee |
INR 7.59 Lakhs |
Average Package |
INR 6.75 LPA |
Highest Package |
INR 8 LPA |
Placement Percentage |
100% |
Field Segments:
There are three Field Segments spread across these four semesters:
Here, you get to work every two months with different organizations on multiple ranges of projects. These segments give practical exposure to the actual challenging environment outside books and classrooms. After the program, students feel confident and have hands-on experience that many don’t possess.
The organizations that visit on campus for field segments and final segments are Bank of Baroda, Myntra, Axis Bank, AP Moller – Maersk, Agribusiness Systems International, Ambuja Cement Foundation, L&T Finance, Lupin Ltd, PepsiCo, CABI, DuPont Pioneer, IndusInd Bank, Tata Chemicals, UNICEF, Edelweiss Financial Services, FCI, and more.
The institute has a legacy of students known for their hard work and dedication in their respective organizations.
One of my friends is presently studying at NIT Kurukshetra, and he has a good idea about NIT Delhi. But he does not tell me more about NIT Jamshedpur, as he has limited knowledge about this institute.
The following table shows a brief overview of these three institutes:
Criteria |
NIT Kurukshetra |
NIT Jamshedpur |
NIT Delhi |
NIRF Ranking |
6th |
79th |
92nd |
Highest Package |
43.31 LPA |
30 LPA |
39 LPA |
Average Package |
10.91 LPA |
12 LPA |
9.8 LPA |
Students Placed |
538 |
400 |
150 |
The above table shows that NIT Kurukshetra(KKR) > NIT Jamshedpur> NIT Delhi.
Besides, NIT Delhi is a newly opened institute with a temporary college campus. Someone mentioned that the students have to travel approximately 2 hours from their hostel room to the college rooms in NIT Delhi, which is quite tiresome. The Alumni Network is completely lagging as it is a new institute.
Additionally, NIT Jamshedpur provides good placement in comparison to NIT Kurukshetra. It is the only thing that supports the rankings of an institute, respecting other colleges. Another important thing is that if you are from Eastern Part, then opt for NIT Jamshedpur.
