What was your GATE score for your selection in NITIE?

AK

MMO (Baroda) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (2019-present)

GATE score isn't only the factor that contributes to the admission process. The other factors include academics scores of 10th, 12th, graduation, and GD-PI rounds.

Two of my friends got admitted to NITIE. One among them was a general category with a 780 GATE score and the other secured a 765 score from the OBC category. It all depends on the cut-offs and waiting list conversion.

Along with the GATE scores, it's important to work hard for the group discussion and personal interview round. Also, wait for the waiting list as there can be a slight chance of selection in the waiting list.

B.Tech. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Goa (2018)

I have a friend who recently graduated from NIT Goa. According to him, for the home state, you should score around 160. Although it may vary since the mark required is increasing every year.

According to the 2021 cutoff trends, the required cutoff (HS) for CSE is 14581. For more information on the cutoff, you can go through the JOSAA website.

What's the GATE rank or score required to get into NITIE?

KG
Khushi Gupta Posted On : August 13th, 2021
PGDPM from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (2019)

As far as I know, if you have a score of 750 or higher, you will be contacted for an interview. For admission to NITIE, you have to pass the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

If you fall into one of the reserved categories, your required score will be lower in order to be called in for an interview.

NITIE Cutoff for GATE (Expected) –

Category GATE Cutoff Scores
General 720 to 760 +
OBC NCL 550+
SC 500+
ST 420+

Placements for all courses are good in my opinion. You can also check out the official website for more specific information.

Can I get NIT Goa with a 97 score?

ST

Studied at the National Institute of Technology, Goa

Admission to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa is highly competitive and is based on a candidate's performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The JEE Main exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is held twice a year.

The admission process at NIT Goa is based on a candidate's JEE Main score and rank in the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main score is calculated based on a candidate's performance in the entrance exam and their marks in their 12th board exams in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). This is a mandatory requirement for admission to any NIT.

It is difficult to predict whether a score of 97 in JEE Main will be sufficient to secure admission to NIT Goa. The cutoff for NIT Goa varies each year based on factors such as the number of candidates who have applied, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats. Typically, a percentile of 97-98 or higher is required to have a good chance of securing admission to an NIT.

It's important to note that admission to NITs is highly competitive, and candidates need to perform exceptionally well in the JEE Main exam to secure a seat. In addition to a high score, candidates must also meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute and provide all required documentation as part of the admission process.

Usually, students ranking in the top 300, get CSE, or IT at MPSTME, NMIMS. But this is just a tentative score. There is no such specific cutoff system. NMIMS Cutoff varies each year depending on the availability of seats.

So, try to score a good rank, to be safe. Since most students choose CSE or IT, the required cutoff remains high.

Which branch can I expect to get at the Heritage Institute of Technology if my GMR is 42,769 and I am in the ST category?

Darshan Sethi Posted On : March 15th, 2023

You can expect to get at any of the branches of the Heritage Institute of Technology if your GMR is 42,769 and you are in the ST category.

If you have a domicile in West Bengal, you may be eligible for admission to all branches offered by the Heritage Institute of Technology. However, if you are an outsider (i.e., a student from any state other than West Bengal) who appeared for the WBJEE exam, you may be considered a general category candidate, and the reservation quota may not apply to you.

Out of 800, what is a good score in the Manipal University exam?

PS
Prabhat Sharma Posted On : March 7th, 2023
B.com Honors from University of Delhi (Graduated 2019)

I am sure most people are going to answer this by saying a score of 350+ is likely considered good in the Manipal University Exam.

Well, I have a completely different opinion in this regard. This is because my sister had a score of 297 and yet was able to get into Electrical and Electronics Engineering, at Manipal University. What I mean is, scores certainly are a major factor affecting Your chances of admission, but not the only factor. An excellent profile or interview performance might help you get into your dream college. The fact that she got admission, not in a less demanded branch but EIE was a miracle indeed. So the key is to work hard and don't let mere scores demotivate you.
