While many may discredit IIM Raipur because it is not an old IIM, I will still choose it over IIT Madras DoMS. My preference is based on the following reasons
- IIT is a technical institute and is yet to develop in the Business World. This restricts its bonding with leading B Schools, companies and other committees.
- The crowd is more inclined towards technical education and mostly engineers. Whereas IIM Raipur welcomes a diverse crowd from various professions.
- The overall environment of IIT is not suitable for a Management program. IIM Raipur has laid a perfect environment for the same.
- IIM Raipur renders a perfect ambiance for boosting your business and management skills. Such an opportunity is not there in IIT.

Which of the three is better: IIM Rohtak, IIM Raipur, or IIT Madras?
IIM Rohtak is followed by IIM Raipur and IIT Madras.
IIM Rohtak and IIM Raipur are nearly equal. The only difference is that Rohtak is close to the NCR. They are nearly identical in terms of fees, placements, faculty, alumni base, peer learning, and so on.

Many of my students attend IIM programs in Shillong, Ranchi, and Raipur each year. While the placement outcomes at IIM Shillong and Ranchi are similar, the campus at IIM Shillong is more attractive and students at IIM Ranchi must spend an hour commuting to classes every day.
Additionally, the lack of a campus at IIM Ranchi may limit the ability to participate in a vibrant social scene. Therefore, IIM Shillong may be a better choice for those who value the campus learning experience.
Is it worth doing PGPMWE (Executive MBA) from IIM Raipur? How is it going to benefit someone who has 8-10 years of experience in a government bank?

The Executive MBA program is designed in e-learning mode to facilitate Working Executives. It is indeed a good option who want to avail earn and learn at the same time. Some highlights of the program are
- The IIM brand name
- You can continue your job alongside your MBA program which ensures a good ROI
- The learning imparted through this program helps you climb the ladder in your own organization or look for a better job outside it.
- Since you already have 10 years of experience, a full-time MBA program will be risky and offer very little placement opportunities.
So to end the discussion, I deem you to go for an Executive MBA and strive for excellence.
I'll convert IIM Udaipur, probably Raipur and Kashipur, DBE DU as well. Which one should I take considering I am in a tight financial corridor currently and would have to take a 7 digit loan for IIMs?
All the IIMs offer great educational loans so financial problems are not a major issue here. Many banks are lined up to offer loans at very low interest to the students at the time of admission. The ROI is also great compared to DBE. Apart from that the IIM tag will also open multiple opportunities for you. But if you are confused about the 3 IIMs, I will enlighten you about the culture of each. This might help you make a better decision.
