One of my relatives was part of the 2014 -16 PGDM batch of IMT Ghaziabad. This answer is based on her experience at the institute. 

In her batch, there were 30 students with HR specialization out of the whole 680 batch strength. The overall average CTC offered to them was decent enough, however, the salary packages offered to students were a mixed bag.

For 2020 batch, the average CTC offered to students was 12 LPA while the highest package was 58.22 LPA

HR is a business function that is hugely impacted by AI/ML/Automation trends, so if you are truly interested in building a career in HR, learning and leveraging these skills can be really useful. 

Being said all the above if you have time and you are keen on HR, looking for a better alternative will be wise.

• The institute has a high student intake and in turn, there will be more competition among students.
• Being a private college, there are no reservations for admission. The required cutoff for admission is also quite high. Almost all students will have a percentile of around 90-95%. 
• IMT Ghaziabad offers excellent campus life. You can learn a lot from your peers. 
• The institute places too much emphasis on committees and extra-curricular. Try to take it easy. 
• This is probably the last time you are going to be in college. So, try to make more memories and make the most out of the experience.

You will not regret your decision of enrolling in this program. As a student, you will definitely have some predilections regarding the program. The fee is a little higher and you might question your ROI as well. But once you get to know the program better, you will realize that joining it is not a mistake.

• The faculty here is great. You will see that the department has teachers from various countries which will bring its own perspective to the class. 
• You will attend a class every day and who knows, you might as well fall in love with some of the subjects given the exciting way they are taught here.
• You might not like the campus life here but you will also see some improvements. A lot of festivals are organized around the year and personally, the Onam celebrations are the best. However, at some point, you might feel a little isolated considering the campus is quite a distance away from the main city.

The program itself is anchored in Dubai having some of the best service sector practices. A multi-cultural environment exposure is offered and you get to experience life in a global manner. The curriculum also has been internationally benchmarked and you will get to work with multinational companies.

You will also get exposure to internships in the UAE with a high-paying stipend of AED 3650 and an average of AED 1873 per month. Most students join IMT Ghaziabad campus after a year. Your final placements will be taken care of by this institute.

Overall, Dubai will definitely be productive and you will enjoy added exposure to the MBA course provided you can afford it.
