JNTUH (Hyderabad) and JNTUK (Kakinada) are the local JNTUs that offers seats based on rank in TS Eamcet and AP Eamcet respectively while IIIT Allahabad is a Central Government Funded College that allocates seats based on rank achieved by the student in JEE Main.

• Nevertheless, JNTUH has got a good reputation among all the colleges present in Hyderabad.
• It is located in the heart of the city with all facilities available in a hand’s reach.
• IIIT Allahabad has a good college environment but lacks only in location factor.
• It is a better college when you compare college placement statistics.
• Any branch in IIITA is better when compared to JNTU. CSE in JNTUH is known for its faculty.

While IIITA leads in every aspect when compared to JNTUK. So IIIT Allahabad is the best option when compared to both of the JNTU’s.

Among the above two institutes, PIBM Pune is a better choice for students interested in an MBA degree. The points below give a brief overview of PIBM Pune and its advantages, which would justify the choice made between the two.

• Most of the faculties present in the institute are experienced in their respective fields. All of them deliver actual knowledge to the students and support them a lot during their preparation.
• The corporate exposure in PIBM is too good to be sufficient. You will be able to do your winter and summer internships in good companies for experience and pre-placement offer opportunities. You even get to participate in live projects as well. The overall practical experience and knowledge gained in PIBM are high.
• PIBM Pune believes that you need to start your preparation from the very first day of the course, in order to gain utmost success. So, there are separate aptitude training sessions and communication classes for the first year of college.

A few of my friends are pursuing CSE at Amrita University and here are some tips according to their experience -

Considering many reviews that Amrita University is not up to the mark, it is suggested to drop one year and prepare well so that you can get a good seat at NIT at least.

You can try BITSAT as well. But don’t spoil your future by going into any college, which you will regret throughout your life.

However, make the right choice. It is suggested you opt for better colleges and drop out and prepare for the exams this year. So that there will be a chance of getting into a better college.

Both NIT Surathkal and IIEST Shibpur are amazing institutes and the departments of the mentioned branches are at their best. The deciding factor here is your branch of interest.

• If you are inclined towards Mechanical Engineering, you must opt for NITK. If you are more into coding IIEST must be your choice.
• Another factor to look for if you are not that specific about the branch to study is the institute's proximity to your home.
• The one which is easily accessible must be preferably your choice.
• Shibpur is very well connected to all major cities. Frequent industry visits are conducted.
• NITK Surathkal is located in Karnataka. Their campus is the best. They even have a beach surrounding its campus.

But when we compare placements in the CSE branch of IIEST Shibpur to the mechanical branch of NITK, IIEST Shibpur wins hands down. The decision here ultimately comes down to you. Consider all the above factors and choose wisely.

One of my friends from high school used to be a student of IIITDM Kanchipuram and in his opinion, ECE at that institute has a far better system of progressing with the course than the NIT system.

IIITDM Kanchipuram also boasts of having a superior faculty. IT has also been derived from the ECE. Both hardware and software are involved in ECE. So, if you are more inclined towards Physics and Maths, go for ECE.

Thus it is suggested that you go for ECE at IIITDM Kanchipuram than IT at NIT Raipur. ECE also has better scope and opportunities than IT. Graduating with ECE you can sit for placements of both core sectors and corporate sectors.
