Both institutes fall into the B+ category. However, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), Kochi makes for a slightly better choice.

The reasons for the same are given below.

• The brand “Xavier” is always better than any other college unless they are some other big private colleges or IIMs.
• XIME, Kochi was established recently. However, within only a few years, it has shown tremendous growth. Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi is struck at the same level though it was established way back.
• Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi is located in the Delhi NCR region which obviously has a location advantage over Kochi. However, the institute has shown less stellar growth than XIME, Kochi.
• XIME Kochi has better faculty than the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi. Also, it has better brand recognition among corporates pan India than Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi.

As XIME Kochi is being pushed by XIME Bangalore, you can expect better job profiles from the campus placements as well as greater stability. You can reach out to alumni of the institute for more salary, placements, and other details.

A few of my friends graduated from both IET DAVV and JEC. They say that the choice mostly varies according to your interests and the plans you have for your future.

• If you are planning for GATE then ET will not be a good choice. But if you are thinking of campus placements then IET has better records of placements than JEC.
• There is no more chance of growth in ET compared to CS. You will get better placements with CSE but for exposure and environment, IET is the better one.
• You will find good seniors and quite a supportive faculty.
• Talking of the colleges’ locations, Indore is better than Jabalpur not only fits your plans but also an important parameter while choosing a college.

Finally, IET is a better college compared to JEC but the ET course at IET is mediocre while the CS branch has a great scope. However, the final decision is up to you. Choose wisely.

Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT) is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, It is one of the best engineering colleges in the country providing high-quality education. It is ranked 125 for BTech by NIRF 2020. It offers degree program Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC).

The Ramdeobaba College of Engineering ECE department was established in the year 2001. Its student intake is 120, this is preferred by central students. It is ranked 113 for BTech by NIRF 2020.

Admission Requirements 

• Candidates should have 60% in their 10+2 qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is compulsory.
• Final selection will be based on scores obtained in JEE Main and MHT-CET.

The choice of institution depends on the candidate. His or her performance in the entrance exams, preference of subject, location, fees, etc. all depend on the individual. The placement percentage is similar in both colleges and same companies visit during the placement program. So, it completely depends on the student and his or her preferences.

Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET) provided the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) under the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program. 300 seats are available for undergraduate students.

Admission Factors:

• Students wishing to enroll in this course are required to take the Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the State of Telangana.
• 70% of the seats are reserved for merit on the basis of EAMCET
• The duration of the course is four years and Rs. 1,22,000 is the annual tuition fee.

Placements:

• GRIET’s ECE program provided placement opportunities to 152 students in the 2017-18 year.
• The highest package of the college was approximately 41.6 LPA and the lowest package was around 5.05 LPA.
• Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys, Goldstone Infratech, Capgemini, Aizant Global Analytics, TCS are a few well-attributed companies hiring graduates from the ECE course of the institute.

Facilities:

• 16 different laboratories for academic research and practicals with respect to Electronic Communications are available specifically for the ECE course.

Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering And Technology (VNR VJIET) provides a specialization of Mechanical Engineering under B.Tech. Only 120 seats are available for this course.

Admission Factors:

• Students have to pass the EAMCET exam conducted by the Government of Telangana.
• The annual tuition fee of the college is 1.31 lakhs and the course is for 4 years.

Placements:

• VNR VJIET’s Mechanical Engineering program placed 109 students in the academic year of 2018.
• 28.75 LPA is the highest average package of the college and 5.83 LPA is the lowest package.
• In the year 2018, 7 lakhs was the highest salary amount of the Mechanical department while 1.20 lakhs was the lowest.
• Bluestar, Deloitte, ICICI, Capgemini, Tata AIG, Amazon, Media Mint, Sia Group, Intelli Crafts Infosolutions are some of the reputed companies that visit during the placement season.

Facilities:

• Computer labs with 93 workstations and 9 different laboratories are equipped with paraphernalia related to the course.

Choosing which college is superior is challenging. Mechanical engineering is a key subject, so you'll be offered multiple opportunities in your career to choose. However, with an Electronics and Communication Engineering students can shift from hardware to software field if they wish to. So choose according to your convenience.

I have friends from both LNCT Bhopal and JIIT Noida, and according to the conversations that I had with them, I will say JIIT is relatively better than the former. The reason, quite clearly, is because the admission shortlisting is based upon the rank secured in JEE Mains, and not on the basis of marks acquired in the boards.

So you will be among a better peer group at JIIT which will be highly beneficial for your personality development, alongside several other positive differences.
