- IET DAVV was established way before IIIT Nagpur. IIIT N is a fairly new institute with its first batch passing out in 2020. So industry connections are obviously better at IET.

- It also has a lower fee compared to IIIT Nagpur.
- The institute also has a permanent campus while IIIT Nagpur is currently operating from the temporary campus of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s Regional Telecom Training Center.

I am strongly against judging a college solely on the basis of placements. Placements should never be the major criteria for evaluating the credibility and worth of an institute. Rather, you should look for the college that has excellent records of international competitions, and which are known to offer better opportunities as a whole for personality development.
If it’s only placements you are concerned about, then please consider joining MUJ as it has a better placement scenario than UPES, and is expected to improve more so.

Which is better NSUT IT or PEC CSE for a Chandigarh student?
In terms of brand recognition and exposure, NSUT IT is better than PEC Chandigarh. Delhi offers way better exposure, due to the presence of the industry belt in the area. There are many reputed technological institutes in Delhi such as IIITD, so the learning opportunities are ample.
CSE and IT aren’t too different. The major difference between the two branches is hardware and 90% of students are more invested in software roles. If you aren’t particularly interested in the hardware section of Computer Science, choosing NSUT will be better. NSUT placements are great for IT. Students of the branch get salary packages in the range of INR 4 - 20 LPA.
Which is better between mining at IIEST Shibpur and mining at BIT Sindri?
