Here is a brief overview of each one of them that might help you choose the best.
IIIT Bhubaneswar: It has been recognized as an International Institute of Information Technology, where the first 50% of the seats are primarily reserved for the Odisha category, while the other 50% is decided upon the JEE Mains. The placement is comparably the same as IIIT Vadodara and in terms of infrastructure, it is largely adequate too.
IIIT Vadodara: The campus is as of now temporarily functioning at GEC Gandhinagar, Gujarat. However, it still has a very reputed technical culture surrounding students, as well as the placements, are continually hiking each year. It is proof of how it is rapidly growing. The hostels of the institute are extremely good, as opposed to most of the other IIITs.
IIIT Una: It was established after IIIT Vadodara. It is at present functioning from NIT. It, unfortunately, has poor transportation facilities.
Nonetheless, for a better idea, here is a brief highlight of each institute’s placement stats for the year 2020.

Highlights of the PG Diploma in Industrial Automation
Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune –
The course aims at soft skills development and is designed while collaborating with the industries in order to successfully fulfill their manpower requirements.
The total contact hours of this course are 800 and they include practical, theory, software training, as well as various industry visits.
The students will be provided with hands-on training on the latest software such as CAD, Control Systems, and PDMS. Along with this exposure is also provided in form of real case studies
Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune includes many top tier companies like Tata, Hyundai, Philips, Mahindra, John Deere, LG Electronics, etc.
NIELIT Calicut –
The course is designed with an objective to produce qualified automation engineers that would meet the requirements of designing appropriate industrial automation systems.
The program includes project work that would be industry oriented. During this course, the students will get an opportunity to work on specific assignments of their choice.
The program comprises of a total 720 hours which are divided between theory and lab work.
Students of this program have successfully acquired jobs mostly on their own with some of the big industry names such as Tata Honeywell, Wipro Systems, L&T, Moser Baer India, ICICI, and many more.
Both these colleges have good opportunities, however, the ultimate choice has to make based on individual feasibility by the students.
However, MSU Baroda is a better choice than AURO University Surat for BBA Program because, since it is a well-known, established institution if you need to pursue higher studies after BBA, then studying there would give you better opportunities abroad. Universities and Colleges outside India always check the antecedents of the alma matter, from where the student has done the basic degree, and give a better chance to the old existing University, provided everything else is the same.
IIIT Allahabad does not offer CSE as far as all the NITs in India are concerned, NIT Trichy is the best. The CSE department is quite well recognized too in the institute.

When it comes to IIITs, these mainly focus on academic life and not many extracurricular activities. So, if you are getting admission at both these colleges, you should go with NIT Trichy.
One of my cousins studying at IIIT Vadodara said that it is much better than IIIT Surat. Following are some of the facts on why IIIT Vadodara would be a better option than IIIT Surat:
Categories |
CSE at IIIT Vadodara |
ECE at IIIT Surat |
Course Fee |
7.83 lakh |
5.65 lakh |
Highest CTC |
42 LPA |
22 LPA |
Average CTC |

6-7 LPA |
Recruiting Companies |
Wipro, JP Morgan, Deloitte, Dell, etc. |
ZS Associates, Crisil, HP, HCL, etc. |
Other things that make IIIT Vadodara stand out are the excellent faculty and the sheer passion and enthusiasm of students for coding. They encourage students from every department to take part in the coding clubs or learn coding from scratch. This is something that other colleges do not provide. If the branch is not your concern, you can go for IIIT Vadodara otherwise opt for ECE at IIIT Surat.
If you can afford it, go for it. Because it is a bustling green campus with 40 odd colleges, you will have an unforgettable experience. Placements used to be nice, but they’ve taken a hit recently; however, they’re still good if you’re good at studies (scoring 6.5 CGPA).
LD is also a good college, but it’s not better than BVM, aside from the affordable fees and the fact that it’s in Ahmedabad.
You should also know that LD College and BVM are Engineering colleges. Whereas, Sardar Patel University V.V. Nagar provides B.Sc., M.Sc., and other non-engineering courses.
Now, here’s a comparison of BVM and LD that will give you get a better picture.
Overall, I would recommend BVM.
The Aerospace Engineering department MIT Chennai was the first to offer an undergraduate program in aerospace engineering in India. Both Nirma University and RVCE Bangalore are one of the prestigious colleges in India for Engineering. NIRF 2020 has ranked Nirma University at 131 for engineering. Whereas, RVCE Bangalore is ranked 70 for engineering by NIRF 2020. One thing which also needs to be taken into consideration is that Nirma University is a private University situated in Ahmedabad while RVCE is a semi-autonomous University.
Admission
Nirma University offers BTech courses in various specializations at the UG level for engineering whereas RVCE offers BE degrees.
RVCE considers the marks of KCET or CET and the 12th marks for creating the merit list, while Nirma University takes the JEE score into account.
The minimum requirement is 60% in class 12th with a good score in respective exams, to get admission to both of these colleges.
The course fee for BTech at Nirma University is 7.24 Lakhs. Whereas, RVCE Bangalore charges around 12 lakhs for BE courses.
So, Nirma University has a more affordable course fee for engineering courses.
Placements:
It can be said that both of these colleges have a similar reputation and are visited by the same companies every year, but RVCE University is located in Bangalore which is a hub of Engineering. So the Internship Opportunities and the exposure provided there are a bit better than the Nirma University.
Nirma University:
The highest CTC offered was of INR 16 LPA, while the average package was 8.2 LPA.
Many Companies visited the campus with Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Infosys, Tata Motors, Philips, Tata, Amul, Ashok Leyland Daiken, Reliance Industries Limited.
RV College of Engineering:
There were almost 249 participants last year in the campus placement and they offered 1274 job offers, with top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Amazon, JP Morgan, LinkedIn, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, Cleartrip, Intel, etc.
The highest package offered was 52 lacs per annum while the average package offered was 8.63 lacs per annum.
So after seeing all the statistics and comparison between both of these colleges, it can be concluded that RVCE Bangalore would be a bit better over Nirma University as it is having better placement records, more experienced faculty. However, Nirma University has a more affordable course fee. So, choose according to your convenience.
IIMs have a brand name and are doing at par or even better than TAPMI, despite being new. So, you can go for either IIM Vizag or IIM Nagpur.

INR 15.21 LPA |
INR 16.61 LPA |
Fees |
INR 15.50 LPA |
INR 18 LPA |
INR 16.5 LPA |
However, if you have to choose between IIM Nagpur and IIM Vizag, choose according to your preference of location. Both have almost the same median salary of approx 16.5 lakhs for final placements. IIM Nagpur has a permanent campus while IIM Vizag has a better pool of companies for placements.
You should opt for Great Lakes Gurgaon, it is a better option. It offers better placements and brand value. Great Lakes placement 2022 had a 100% placement rate. The average CTC received by the students was INR 16 LPA. Big brands such as Accenture, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, etc. visit the campus placement of Great Lakes Gurgaon. The ROI offered by the institute is pretty good as well.
