IMI Delhi is a highly distinguished management institute with excellent industry exposure due to its location, large alum base, and monthly business thought leadership sessions. In addition to the mandatory summer internship program, students can also participate in various live projects offered by companies through the college placement cells. IMI's annual management conclave "Conventus" brings industry professionals to share their experiences and thoughts on the theme.
With a strong reputation, extensive alumni network, and numerous company tie-ups, IMI Delhi offers students ample opportunities for industrial exposure better than IMT Ghaziabad.
IMS's fee structure is more expensive by approximately 3 lacs compared to others. The institute is located in Ghaziabad, which is part of the National Capital Region and has excellent connectivity to Delhi and Noida via road and metro. The location of IMS is a major factor that affects placements as many companies have their head offices in Noida and Delhi, making it easier for students to approach them.
IMS has won several awards and is accredited by NAAC, among others. The institute offers 4 specializations: Finance, Marketing, HR, and Operations, and students must choose 2 specializations from these options. This allows students to earn a dual diploma, which is important in the modern corporate sector. In the first year, IMS focuses on developing students' interpersonal skills and practical knowledge through seminars, workshops, and training programs.
IMS has a strong placement record, with over 100% placement success since its inception in 1990. Students receive placement based on their skill sets. The highest international package offered during the 2023 placements was INR 28 LPA, while the highest domestic and average package offered was INR 20 LPA and INR 8.25 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters in the 2023 placements include Gartner, EY, Mondelez International, ANZ Bank, Colgate, PwC, Wipro, Blackstone, Dabur, ITC, Accenture, and others. If a student possesses the required skills, IMS will help them secure a job.
Finally, IMS also offers a foreign tour to its students, which is included in the fees. It is advisable to apply for a passport as soon as possible because the work pressure after joining IMS may not leave enough time to do so.

Among the above two institutes, IIIT Kota is a definite choice, which is without doubt surpassing PICT Pune by all means of judgment. The points below give a brief overview of both the institutes that will support the choice with a lot of valid reasons.
It is obvious that IIIT Kota is a clear winner among the two. But, there are fake reviews from consultants over the internet supporting these institutes, which students should avoid looking after.
For a BSc in Agriculture, BFIT will be better compared to Uttaranchal University. Economically, Uttaranchal University BSc Agriculture is more costly. The course fee for BSc Agriculture at UU and BFIT are 4.54 lakhs and 2.99 lakhs respectively. Also, BFIT is affiliated with a Central University, so your degree will have more value. You can opt for Uttaranchal University if you seek a fun campus life.
Choosing the right college for your undergraduate studies is an important decision and depends on several factors such as your academic interests, location, career goals, financial situation, campus culture, and more.
All three colleges you mentioned, IIIT Bhopal, PEC Chandigarh, and NIT Delhi, are reputable institutions for computer science and engineering (CSE) programs in India. Each college has its unique strengths and weaknesses, and it's up to you to evaluate them based on your preferences and priorities.
IIIT Bhopal:
IIIT Bhopal is a relatively new institution established in 2017, but it has quickly gained a good reputation for its CSE program. The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in computer science, including programming, algorithms, data structures, database systems, computer networks, and more. The faculty are well-qualified and experienced, and the institute has good infrastructure, including a modern computer center and a well-stocked library.
PEC Chandigarh:
PEC Chandigarh is a well-established institution that has been offering CSE programs for several decades. It is known for its excellent faculty, high-quality research, and industry collaborations. The curriculum is comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics, including software engineering, artificial intelligence, computer graphics, and more. The institute has good infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art computer center, well-equipped labs, and a vast library.
NIT Delhi:
NIT Delhi is a prestigious institution that offers a well-rounded CSE program with a focus on practical skills and industry-relevant training. The curriculum covers core computer science topics such as programming, algorithms, and data structures, as well as specialized subjects like machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced, and the institute has excellent infrastructure, including a modern computer center, well-equipped labs, and a vast library.
Based on the above information, you may consider the following factors while making a decision:
Ultimately, the decision to choose one of these colleges for CSE should be based on your priorities and preferences.
When considering which postgraduate management program to pursue, there are several factors to consider. One such factor is the duration of the program. Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai (GL) offers a One-year PGPM program, while the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar has a 2-year PGPM program. If you are looking to re-enter the job market sooner, Great Lakes may be a better option for you.
Another factor to consider is the alumni base of the institution. Great Lakes has a larger alumni base than IIM Amritsar, which may provide more networking opportunities. Additionally, Great Lakes offers a unique Karma-Yoga program where students learn leadership skills while giving back to society by helping the surrounding villages.
It's worth noting that IIM Amritsar is a relatively new institution, established only around 7 years ago. While it has the coveted IIM tag, it may not have the same level of prestige or reputation as older IIMs. However, if the IIM tag is important to you, and you are willing to work harder than your peers and give your best in those 2 years, IIM Amritsar may be a good option for you.
Ultimately, the decision of which program to attend will depend on your personal priorities and what you want to gain from the program. It's important to do your own research and weigh the pros and cons of each institution before making a final decision.
In terms of Civil engineering, both the colleges, JUIT Solan and JUET Gunaare good colleges to learn from and for overall development. But the latter comparatively has an edge over the former.
Academics:
JUET Guna campus is sprawled in multiple folds, over more than 125 acres. The civil engineering lab at JUET GUNA is more equipped than JUIT Solan from what I have heard from many of my seniors. Due to the much bigger campus, you can use up the instruments more efficiently.
Placements:
As far as the placement is concerned, both are nearly the same. If you want to go to a non-core Job you can easily get it with good effort or else if you opt for core jobs then they conduct pool campus drives specifically at different locations.
Here’s a brief comparison of the Civil Engineering course offered by the institutes.
Parameters | JUIT Solan | JUET Guna |
Fees | INR 95,000 | INR 2.06 LPA |
Placement Average | 70% | 72% |
Average CTC | INR 5 LPA | INR 3.75 LPA |
Going by the factors mentioned above it is safe to say that JUET Guna will be a better choice for Civil Engineering.
