Is it possible to get an XIMB-HRM call at the NMAT with a score of 195?
XIMB is a part of Xavier University, Bhubaneswar which comprises schools of business management (XIMB), school of RM (XSRM), school of HR (XaHR) and school of SM.
NMAT cut-off for XIMB for the year 2020 was 200+. Section wise cut off lied between:
- Quantitative Skills: 70-75
- Logical Reasoning: 65-70
- Language Skills: 62-65
The cut-off for the batch 2021-23 will be released in the month of April.
Since the cut off has always gone up hence, it is not possible to say whether you will get XIMB-HRM with this score. But, it is always better to stay prepared. Therefore, it is advisable to prepare for WAT and PI.
Is MBA in HRM a good option in terms of academics and placements from the new IIMS? I have heard that only IIM Ranchi is good for HRM.
Many of the old and new IIMs do not place as much emphasis on HR jobs or electives as XLRI and TISS. If you took a few HR electives and graduated from an old IIM, you may still be able to secure a decent HR job. - Very few students opt for HRM.
- Therefore, it will be a better learning environment where most people are interested in the same topic.
The conclusion is, if you are interested and inclined towards HRM then they should opt for XLRI, and if there is uncertainty in choice, then go for IIMs.
Which college is better for HR, XIMB-HR or IIT KGP MHRM?

Which is better for an MBA, HRM, XIMB HRM, or IMI HRM for a Delhi domicile?

My suggestion would be to consider NMAT and even SNAP so that you get a better view to choose from. Some promising prospects are indeed offered by NMIMS and SIBM-P, but I believe you should go for that particular institute which is reputed for its HR department.
Is the PGDHRM of 1 year duration from SIBM Bangalore good?
2-year MBAs are considered better than 1-year long PGDHRM. But if you are a working professional and you need a flexible course, SIBM Bangalore 1-year PGDHRM is a good option. You will get decent exposure and networking opportunities. For this course, placements aren’t provided by the institute. But students get good job offers through off-campus placements.
What is the best option for pursuing an MBA in HRM, XISS RANCHI, WESCHOOL Mumbai, SIES Mumbai, or XIME Bangalore?
