However, the computer science courses offered by DU can’t be compared to B.Tech. As the curriculum used at DU is not that great. However, the learning environment for Honors courses is better. It’s better to consider all your option and choose the one that suits your future goals.

Among these two institutes, KMC (Kirori Mal College) is the better option for pursuing a B.Com (H). As a B.Com student, you will get all the required facilities. The faculty base is quite good. They are well-experienced and have good command over the subjects. The college has a collection of the latest books. Overall, it offers decent academics and environment to grow.
I have taken admission in statistics honours at Ramjas College. Should I change to Kirori Mal College? Which is better?
For statistics, Kirori Mal College (KMC) is better than Ramjas College. Even if Ramjas has a better faculty for Statistics, still it is suggested that you go for KMC.
KMC has a much better student crowd, better placement opportunities and a decent infrastructure. Keeping all this in mind, KMC will be a better choice.
Actually, both the colleges are at par if you are considering statistics as a course. KMC has better infrastructure and a better feel as a college campus. Placements are better in KMC. Ramjas has the best faculty in statistics with ND Vohra as HOD. Most of the students study his books which are also suggested by DU. The faculty of KMC is not that great if you compare it to that of Ramjas.
But overall considering every point, KMC will prove to be a better choice than Ramjas for statistics, as it will provide the proper placements and exposure.
How is the hostel of Kirori Mal College Delhi University?
Kirori Mal College Hostel is one of the University of Delhi's cheapest and best hostels. As some of my friends stay in the hostels, here’s what I got to know from them about it.
Let me highlight a few of KMC Hostel's strengths:
- Because the hostel is located within the college building, you can travel from college to hostel at any time.
- It is a really affordable and well-maintained hostel with all the necessary amenities.
- The food here is hygienic and pocket-friendly. It has a variety of options for both veg and non-veg students.
- There is a washing machine made available to students.
- They have a big sports ground and offer a gym too.
This privilege, however, is not available to everyone, as there is a hostel cut-off. As a result, if you fit in, the hostel could feel like home.
