Yes, the question in Pearson’s guide to IIM Indore IPMAT is easier than the actual paper. As a matter of fact, the author has been continuously revising the content every year as per the difficulty levels. One of my friends had prepared for his IPMAT from two books, which are as follows.

But for preparation of IPM don’t stick to a single book. You can collect previous year’s question papers to get a better overview of the examination.
The Mathematics department of NIT Jalandhar is newly established and so not at par with the M.Tech. department. The faculty is not that experienced either and you will find assistant teachers more. Most of the NITs don't have faculties of varied expertise for the MSc program. Moreover, placements are also just average. Most of the students apply for teaching jobs or Ph.D. So opt MSc in Mathematics only if it is your last choice. But if you have already joined it or are adamant about joining it then these tips will help you make the most of the course:
Keep in touch with the Mathematics fraternity around the world
Attend Mathematics seminars and conferences which will give you a better understanding of the subject and its applications.
Initiate things on your own during college seminars, departmental events, or technical fests.
Lastly, focus on your academics
You can make the most out of the resources of this department even if it is lacking in many aspects.
One of my friends is majoring in HR but has opted for numerous positions in IT Operations. According to her, the course is very well designed and is industry relevant. Speaking specifically about Operations, the electives under it are directly related to the industry such as

The entrance test for IIMC or AJKMCRC is not that tough and can be cracked with sufficient preparation.
For the preparation of the entrance test, here are a few points to consider.
For IIMC, application forms are made available in the month of April then admit cards are generated. The written test generally takes place in the fourth week of May and results are announced in June. Then, an approx time of 2 weeks is provided for interview preparation. Handmade notes help in preparation for the interview in this short period.
The interviewers are usually polite and calm and ask questions according to the capability of the candidate. You can clear the interview easily with proper preparation and presence of mind.
To some extent, it matters. For instance, if you attended one of the top 20 colleges in your field, you will stand out.
Please keep in mind that the selection process is a way of finding students who are good at certain things. So you might be good at co-curricular or extracurricular activities that set you apart. It is possible to be overlooked if you have graduated from an average college. Because of your other qualities, the interviewers and admissions committee are interested in you.
When you look at any given batch of IIM students, you will notice that they come from a variety of backgrounds, talents, and colleges. Remember that not all IITians convert to IIMA, and not every IIMA student is an IITian.

ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) scores are accepted by a large number of MBA colleges in India. Here are some of the top MBA colleges that accept ATMA scores:
Many other MBA colleges accept ATMA scores, so it's important to do your research and find the ones that best suit your needs and goals. You can also check the official website of AIMS to get a comprehensive list of all the colleges that accept ATMA scores.
Because these institutes lack the resources to conduct their own selection process, all of the new IIMs use a Common Admission Process (CAP). If you have received calls from older IIMs, new IIMs will accept your scores from those institutes and you will not be required to take the CAP. Furthermore, there is no GD in CAP, only Written Ability Tests and Personal Interviews.
Many students who have taken the CAP exam say that the interviews are just like any other, except that the stakes are higher. The questions typically include an introduction, hobbies, questions about work experience and academics, and general knowledge questions in the case of freshers.
