Which is better, bootcamp or an MBA from new IIM (Udaipur, Trichy) to switch to data analytics? I have a 3 years work experience as a QA engineer.

I will give you an insight into both the options you mentioned, i.eMBA from IIM or Bootcamp.

Bootcamp: If you are very passionate about Data Analytics then Bootcamp is the best option for you. I deem this course better than an MBA from B School as a B School covers various arenas of Management while Bootcamp solely focuses on what you are looking for. Moreover, you will end up paying hefty fees and will have to pay loans for years. It provided a detailed approach to Data Analytics and you don’t have to study irrelevant topics

B School: B schools like the new IIMs are good for people who are not certain of their career interests. In that case, B-school would teach you much more than Data Analytics, and then you can pursue the field you excel in or are most passionate about. The excellent pedagogy of IIMs enables you to inculcate skills like handling a project, building a workforce, execution, etc. Basically, you are groomed on an overall basis and get industry exposure as well.

I have seen many people pursuing MBA and also online courses that offer Certification in Data Analytics specifically. So that is also a viable option for you.

Should I join HCL as an IMS engineer with 6 LPA in Noida or a government grade 3 job in my home location with 4 LPA?

AP
Adarsh Pany Posted On : March 10th, 2023
Former Executive at KPMG India (2015–2017)

My advice would be to join the Grade 3 Government job as it will give you an opportunity to study for higher exams. It will also ensure many facilities that come with a government job like job security.

If you join HCL, with a 6 LPA package, the immense work pressure will hinder you from preparing for any further exams. You will have to keep climbing the corporate ladder and the pressure won’t let you prepare for your higher studies.

Can I get into KIET, AKGEC, or ABES Engineering College through UPTU counseling with the CSE branch if I got a rank of 19,380 on the UPSEE?

HS
Harshitha Sood Posted On : November 11th, 2020
Studied at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad

KIET Group of Institutions (KIET), ABES Engineering College, and Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College all of these are one of the best institutes available in Ghaziabad.

Admissions:

All three of these Colleges provide a B.Tech degree in their respective departments. If we talk about admission, all of these universities follow almost the same pattern.

  • For BTech admission, the three institutes accept UPSEE scores. Based on the scores students are called for UPTU counseling.

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for ABES Engineering College, KIET Group of Institutions (KIET), and Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College is that a candidate must have passed class 12th with a minimum aggregate of 45%.

The required closing cut-off for CS Branch In 2019 at the institute was as follows.

Colleges

Cutoff in UPSEE

ABES Engineering College

9546

KIET Group of Institutions (KIET)

8555

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College

4742

Coming straight to your question, seeing the overall cutoffs for the previous sessions. It is quite obvious that with a rank of 19,380 in UPSEE, you can't get admission to the CS branch of any of these Colleges, provided you belong to the general category. However, there are some management seats available in all of these colleges, you can contact the officials for the same and if luck is by your side you might get admission in any of these too.

I want to do BCA but I'm confused which collage to choose IMS Noida is only 6 KM from my home?

RK
Revanth Krishna Posted On : March 10th, 2023
MBA from Indian School of Business

Many falsely assume IMS Noida to be a good institute after reading fake reviews and misleading information on the internet. My friend's house was in close proximity to the Institute and thus chose it for graduation. Till date he regrets his decision because there are so many flaws like

  • Inexperienced and incompetent faculty
  • Management that is after money only
  • Constant fees hikes every year
  • Sessional exams are not conducted timely and marks are not sent to the university timely
  • Unnecessary fine imposed
  • Inflated placement statistics
  • Corrupted administration
  • Poor college life experience
  • Unhygienic environment

These reasons are more than enough to convince you from choosing IMS Noida.
