I am a student of B.Tech Mechanical at VNIT Nagpur, so I can’t tell you anything about the Mechanical at SVNIT.
VNIT has a good reputation for its Mechanical. Most of the renowned alumni of our college are from this branch. Here’s a few of their names- Dr. Dinesh Keskar (President of Boeing India and VP of Boeing International Trading), Ashish Saraf (Vice President at Airbus), Hemant Karkare, Satyendra Pakhale and Sanjay Joshi. The faculty for Mechanical is good, and the department offers good lab facilities as well. The senior- junior interaction is also good at the department.
Though I do not know much about SVNIT, I expect that its Mechanical department must be at par with the one at VNIT. Do a thorough research before deciding between either of the colleges.
I will seriously not recommend you to go for TIME. The first choice is PRATHAM if not then IMS.
The IIM paper is always tough and covers maximum mathematical questions. They are both difficult as well as time consuming.
Questions are never repeated in this paper. But if the study material and faculty is the same, what is actually different? The approach towards the exam and your attitude towards it.
Having a healthy approach is the key to crack this paper. You should not aim to excel, rather try to attain scores better than others.

Overall, it's a matter of preferences!
My friend was in a similar dilemma a few years ago. She had offers from NMIMS, SIBM and IIM Nagpur. She wasn’t sure if choosing a new IIM over these B Schools would be a wise decision. Yet she chose Nagpur in the end. Some major reasons that led her to choose it were
Based on the above parameters you have to make a decision according to your preferences. My friend was glad she chose IIM Nagpur and it helped her uplift her career through various opportunities.
United World School of Business is better than EIILM. It is a national management school, so the scope of PAN India placement is better. Owing to the small batch size of the institute, students get equal opportunities to get decent placements. Also, every student gets the required attention from the faculty.
PwC, EY, Louis Berger, Nestle, Marico, etc. are among the major recruiters to take part in the United World placement drive. The salary packages offered are in the range of INR 2.5 LPA - INR 7.5 LPA.
PES University has ranked 6th among the top 50 private universities of the country by Outlook India in 2019. On the other side, Thapar University has been graded “A” by NAAC and has also ranked 5th among the top private engineering institutes of the country by India Today.
Both these universities are well known and reputed for the quality of education they provide alongside the excellent placement rate and infrastructure.
A few major points have been listed below to help you out to choose the proper institute for your future.

PES University- Some of the popular courses at PES are BTech, BBA, B.Com, MTech, MCA. The course fee for various programs ranges between INR 80,000 to 3.3 lakhs.

As far as faculty is concerned, both the universities provide excellent faculty members who are well experienced and helpful. The infrastructure provided at both the institutes is also good.
These are some of the basic yet extremely important points that you should never ignore while choosing the proper institution for higher studies.
FMS, Delhi is one of the most prestigious B-schools in India and is recognized even globally with many of its alumni working in key management positions in global companies. FMS has arguably the best ROI (Return on Investment) with a fees of 2 lakhs and an average placement of 34.10 LPA.
The south campus of Delhi University on the other hand includes colleges like Sri Venkateswara, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma, Motilal Nehru, etc.
FMS is solely a management institute that offers postgraduate and Ph.D. programs while the colleges under the north and south campus have Bachelor's as well as Master's courses in various fields.
If we compare PGDCM and PGDM at IIM Calcutta, we see that both the courses have the same networking, placements and even infrastructure.
Now if you compare both the IIMs, IIMC and IIML, there is hardly any difference in the curriculum or even placements. So deciding which IIM to go for depends on your own preferences.
But if you are planning to quit IT then I suggest going for the full-fledged MBA course from IIM Lucknow rather than a system at IIM Calcutta.
IIM Lucknow will offer excellent exposure and placements and you will end up getting an above average salary package for consulting.
You should choose DU colleges. The academic environment and the student culture of DU are excellent. It gives ample opportunities for the students to upskill. As a student of a DU college, you will get to participate in cultural fests, MUNs, departmental fests, ad-hocs, etc. These experiences help students learn and grow.
