“Encouraging the professionals to provide the youth an accomplishing factor”

Many factors stay behind me which are associated with the education sector, like the Learning environment, peer relationships with students, encouraging people to do innovative research in teaching methods, and not least but least Class and Curriculum Structure. Education is the path of a new era that can change the persuasion of people. Education leads every giant leap and smallest change of the human race so it always fascinates me to be connected with the education sector.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Participative leadership with several ideas and thoughts for betterment of the institute”

My philosophy of leadership consists of core principles, perspectives, and values. Being an Executive Director of Gyanmanjari Group of Colleges I would describe my leadership style as direct, and leading by example. I enjoy delegating tasks and taking the lead on new assignments, but I also like to stay involved and inspire my team by showing that I'm working hands-on to help them, too. According to me, a leader must be supportive, Guiding by doing the task, Ownership in nature, clear understanding of the task, Identification of the right manpower for a particular task.

How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your college?

“Innovative field ideas by the students for digital recognition of the institute”

I would like to put into practice innovative higher education marketing and administration strategies rather than the traditional one. I believe that moth publicity is the best marketing. We implement which is essential for students and best for current industry and societal requirements. Ex. The interdisciplinary project, Industry Exposures, national International tie-ups for students, Startups and Entrepreneurial Activities, Mentoring, Parents Counseling, etc.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

“Association with international universities for exposure of international education to the students”

The foreign system is entirely practical centric while the Indian education system is purely theory centric while. Through my experience, I believe that the practical oriented study approach makes the process easy, interactive, and interesting while the theoretical approach makes the learning process a little interactive and at times monotonous. But I also learned that theory centric systems are also very important for fundamental clearance of the subject. To deliver the benefits of both systems to students we are the emphasis on theory and practical approach together. I have introduced Project-based education in our institute which has a pure view of the practical and theoretical approach which will provide a blend of the Indian and foreign education system. And through my experience, I believe that this is the best method of learning.

How does the curriculum of the Gyanmanjari Institute of Technology ensure the best practice of industry?

“Activity-based studies for preparing students to be industry-ready”

We are following the curriculum of GTU but to make the students skilled and industry-ready we have developed and run an extra syllabus for students from the 2nd semester and onwards as a “Technical Skill Enhancement Program” which ensures the best practical knowledge of the industry and make the student more hirable in the current scenario. Under the same students have to undergo a 30 hours of domain based skill development program every semester. The result of this program can be visible by our 100% placement.

Any insights into how your Institute could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

“We promote unity in students and promote unbiasedness among each member of the college”

I believe that the race or economic backgrounds of the student are trivial in superior institutes. Likewise, we are welcoming all students of any race or faith, or background. Students from any race can come, learn, and explore the world of knowledge in our institutes. We are also aware of the students about scholarships available from the state government and central government to deprived students. We have introduced our scholarship system for bright poor students. Apart from that, we are also encouraging especially abled and girl students to participate in the AICTE scholarship of Pragati Saksham. Overall we are trying our level best to welcome students from different parts of society.

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Recognition as the foremost university in the state as well as of the Nation”

The top priority of our institute is to be recognized as the best institute in western India for technical education. Research, innovation, and start-ups will be the prime motto of the institute in the next 10 years. We will grant preference to the modern technologies and innovative educational culture among our students and try our level best to place them in well-reputed MNCs across the world. Our priority, vision, and strategy will be inclined to students centric who will be our identity in the industry in the next 10 years.

What would you like people to know about your Institute they may not know?

“Balance in academia and overall exposure to students create a growth era in the institute”

I would like to enlighten the people that we are unique and distinctive from others. We have a great combination of theory and practical. We have a national & international collaboration to launch our students through robust platforms. Apart from the regular syllabus, we have designed our project oriented parallel syllabus which makes the student industry-ready and highly compatible. We are completely student and qualitative education-centric.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Innovation is the acceptance of new opportunities and career paths”

Be creative and innovative in your domain if you would like to grow. Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow. So think beyond your mastery, if you wish to be a successful person.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute?

“The holistic atmosphere and open communication among the faculty for better understanding”

I believe that healthy relationships between students & teachers and also within the co-workers are the positive vibes for setting and foster an environment of trust and support at the institute. I experienced that the students who feel connected to the institute are more likely to succeed. They have better attendance, grades, and test scores and stay in the institute longer. Building this kind of healthy relationship requires perspectives that embrace positive attitudes and beliefs. It also requires an understanding of the needs of students and teachers. I am always having a tendency of a positive work culture and caring culture in our institute.
