What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

"My passion of educating youths and students have kept me associated"

From the very beginning, teaching has been my passion. And although I was doing good and enjoying working in the corporate world, after a few years, I started feeling that the education field is my true calling, hence I gave it a shot and my journey is going good till now.

Being the Director of MBA Department at IBMR, what is your philosophy of leadership?

"Leadership is all about utilizing team skills to accomplish tasks and help them to grow simultaneously"

I firmly believe that Leadership is all about applying team skills and experiences to achieve the common desired goals. And we normally choose people who have good exposure in both academics and the corporate world, because with the introduction of NEP, relating theoretical aspects with practical applications in the outside world has become a necessity and a goal too. So a true leader knows how to accomplish objectives with available resources, people and processes at the right time and in the right direction. And to train students in line with industrial world requirements, regularly assign them projects and internships at international levels.

What are your roles and responsibilities for the college and students?

"Preparing students for the outside competitive world and corporate sector is my responsibility"

My greatest responsibility is not just to educate my dear students but to prepare them for the outside competitive and real world. I am also responsible to make students emotionally and ethically strong by inculcating ethical values and life skills in them in the best possible way. Last but not the least, offering them the finest quality technical education on subjects like Data Science, Business Analytics and Data Analytics and research opportunities so that they can confidently tackle challenges in the corporate world, also comes under the scope of my accountability.

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

"Providing employment oriented education to students and making them socially conscious"

Our vision is to give finest quality and employment oriented education to our students and make them eligible to compete on a global level. We also aspire to make the students socially responsible and whatever decisions they make, it should be logical enough and contribute to the growth of college, society and nation.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see in designing the curriculum for MBA at IBMR?

"Student unattentiveness towards studies and courses classes is a big issue"

The major roadblock which we are currently facing while implementing the curriculum of MBA courses is that students are not concentrating towards certification programs which university has introduced for them. They simply enroll and attend classes for the sake of attending. This way they are only weakening their base knowledge of subjects and we are looking for efficient methods to bring back their focus.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

"Stay dedicated and define realistic short-term goals for yourself"

I would like to advise my dear students and youths of our society to stay focused towards their life goals and use the approach of smart work, because you start doing things in a more efficient way when you rigorously put your whole and soul to achieve your aim. Take full responsibility for your life and never take anything for granted, be it related to your professional or personal life.
