Dr. Sadanand G. Havanagi is currently working as the Director – MBA at IBMR Group of Colleges, Hubli. His educational qualifications include BE, MBA, and Ph.D.

Knowledge is the of today. Education is like the that eradicates the darkness and brightens the progress of the society and the nation as a . For me, education is a noble profession which creates a of individual responsibility to support the growth of the society, like other streams which have only INCOME as an result but Education field has OUTCOME as the result.

Even though there is slow marginal vertical growth with limited financial benefits, but it provides and has its own identity of caring, sharpening and at the end of the day I feel I have done some responsible task of broadening the minds of future generation students. I conclude as a teacher for the students: “WE TEACH YOU REACH”

The leadership style of walking with the team and establishing a relationship

A leader is one who should not move front or be back but should move with the group. I believe in RELATIONSHIP style of leadership, which gives a sense of confidence in both teachers and students to move in a synchronization path. I start with sensing students, after knowing their pulses, the students are made to understand their roles as a human being having a brain to think and make them rewrite their goals and assist them in every phase of their advancement in academics and all other aspects.

As a mentor and leader,

I will make every student take decisions and move ahead.

If a happens, don’t blame decisions, but and act. The students should take failure as an event and perform better the next attempt.

With an intake of 120 students, IBMR Hubli offers Masters of Business Administration (MBA), which is approved by AICTE, UGC, Ministry of HRD, and Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. The use of smartphones, Social Media, DropBox and, open review every day, along with Faculty as mentors will develop a platform for students to express their views and to support them 24X7 for all issues.

Views on the growth of students through placement opportunities

IBMR has developed a good rapport with the industry and our students are given the opportunity to undertake summer internship programs and major concurrence projects in selected industries. Since its inception, IBMR has managed to keep strong relationships with leading business organizations, which has helped the students in attaining unique opportunities to pursue paid internships in many reputed corporate companies. Hubbali being one of the emerging commercial hubs in the Karnataka state, IBMR students get easy access to visit industries and work on live projects to gain experience

In addition to that, the Placement and Training Cell of the institute maintains a close connection with the industries and trains the students to meet their expectation. Our placement cell performs a SWOT analysis through a Psychometric test in every student and then they are provided with a customized training to enhance their skills.
