Saurabh Joshi: “General (No reservation)”
Describe the general setting of WAT/GD (if any).
Saurabh Joshi: “Due to COVID-19, these stages were scrapped for us, the 2020-2022 batch.
But in general, over the years the IIMs have dumped the G.D. process for various reasons and now focus solely on Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.
Talking about the WAT component, it is generally conducted over a period of 10-15 minutes with topics ranging from business, ethics, general awareness etc. A single sheet is provided, which is submitted right after the deadline of the test complete is met.

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.
Saurabh Joshi: “It happened virtually. There were two Interviewers, 1 Female, 1 male. The camera was off of the male interviewer. Both were the faculties of the institute. The interview lasted for 15-20 minutes. Questions asked were mostly generic, ranging from my work experience to general awareness.”

Saurabh Joshi: “1. Location Advantage - Mihan SEZ region, which would be very beneficial in future for industry exposure.
2. I got its flagship course i.e., PGP in management

What was the reason for you not converting to other colleges?
Saurabh Joshi: “1. Not preparing well for basic answers like tell me about yourself, Why MBA, strength/weakness etc.
2. Interviews are basically conversations. Keep it to that only. It will help reduce the pressure.”
