Mr Parag Paliwal is an alumnus of LNMIIT, Jaipur. He was a student of the B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering batch of the year 2017-2021. He was the Student Executive Chair of the Alumni Association at LNMIIT, Jaipur and has contributed immensely to the student community at the college. He is currently working in Comviva as an Engineer Trainee for the past 3 months. Do you feel the college prepared you to enter the workforce?

“Modern courses were provided, along with adaptive training session”

The answer is definitely yes. The college offers courses in CS fundamentals, Data Structures, and Algorithms, in addition to Computer Science electives. The Training and Placement Cell also conducted rigorous and adaptive training sessions prior to placement season.

Does the College have a strong alumni engagement program? 

“The Alumni Association conducts a variety of student alumni meet-ups”

The college is interested in Student-Alumni interactions, which is why the Alumni Association organizes various student-alumni meetups. The chapter meets across several major cities and holds an annual alumni meetup. Apart from that, there are also monthly alumni talks on domain-specific topics by the Alumni Association.

What were the most positive aspects of your time at your college?

“Learned a lot by networking with classmates, faculty members and senior students”

As a result of getting to meet different people from different states and pursuing different professions, I gained quite a bit of knowledge. I also developed as a person through networking with faculty, batchmates, juniors, and seniors.

“Participating in extracurricular activities enhances one's ability to develop skills”

Any student who participates in extracurricular activities and Campus Life helps shape their character on a professional and personal level. The activities are important because they help build skills and provide memories for a lifetime.

How would you rate the placement activities at LNMIIT?

“An excellent effort is made regularly by the Placement cell to help students”

Placement activities are handled by the Training and Placement cell. According to recent placement reports, there has been an increase in average and median packages offered to students. 

Who were the top recruiters during the placement drive at the college?

“Amazon, Samsung, ZS Associates were part of the recruitment drive”

There are several top recruiters, including Adobe, Amazon, VMware, ZS Associates, Samsung, BNY Mellon, and others.

Did you face a particular academic challenge while in college?

“The academic operations are student-oriented at the college” 

During my tenure, I have not faced any significant challenges in my academic career. Things went quite smoothly in the classroom. There was plenty of support from the administration and staff equally.

As Student Executive Chair of the Alumni Association, I was able to learn different perspectives on a variety of topics. Understanding the perspectives of both alumni and students helped me grow professionally and personally.
