Did you avail of the benefit of any reservation?

Sakshi Choudhary: “General (No reservation)”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Sakshi Choudhary: “WAT was conducted in offline mode for us. There were around 300 students and we were told to sit in a large room with around 25 invigilators. We were provided refreshments and then at the scheduled time give sheets and questions. There were around 5 total topics which were distributed in the room. We were given one particular topic and given a total of 30 minutes to think and write about it in around 500 words.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Sakshi Choudhary: "Are we Indians tolerant enough of something on these lines as during the time there were protests happening around the movie padmavati.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively? 

Sakshi Choudhary: “I tried answering based on my judgement of the situation and tried to include examples and incidents happening around us.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Sakshi Choudhary: “There are 8 panels going on and they were faculty of different IIMs. Each panel was assigned around 15 students. We were told our order and were asked to wait outside our panel. The interview lasted for around 10-15 minutes for each student. There were 2 panelists in each panel to take interviews. The only thing one should keep in mind is even if you are confident don't make it visible on your face. Make proper eye contact while answering the questions and be polite.”

Sakshi Choudhary: “1. Okay so you have done engineering difference between utility and efficiency.

Explained through an example. Question 2- States around Uttarakhand(Because my college was in Dehradun) Answer- Mentioned national as well as international borders. Question 3- Which area is called chicken's neck Answer- Explained the area in the east. Question 4- Why MBA after engineering Answer- Explained my reasons with examples. Question 5- Explain Mughal Dynasty(Because i am based out of delhi) Answer- Named rulers starting from Babar to Aurangzeb. All the questions asked were just to know how aware you are of yourself and your surroundings.”

Mention 3 reasons why you chose this college over other colleges which you converted (OR if you did not join this college after converting it, mention 3 reasons for not joining it).

Sakshi Choudhary: “The reason for choosing IIM Rohtak was the brand value associated with it being a college of national importance. Second reason was the location which was close to Delhi/NCR. And the third reason was Placements and opportunities in terms of competitions, activities, curriculum it had to offer.”
