Arun Choudhary Admission Experience

Did you avail of the benefit of any reservation?

Arun Choudhary: “General (No reservation).”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Arun Choudhary: “I had my first interview for the CAP round in the Vivanta Hotel, New Delhi. I had to travel to Delhi's other extreme from Greater Noida. And considering my first interview, I took a buffer of 2 hours in addition to traveling time so as not to panic in the end. And not to my surprise, I reached there 2.5 hours before reporting time. I sat there in the luxurious lounge and tried to remain calm. Then, When it was time we were taken to a big hall for our WAT examination and after that we were told to report to respective interview rooms allotted to us. When I reached the fourth floor, I became anxious by seeing better-prepared candidates than me there waiting eagerly for their change, and on the other hand, I was wishing that my name is called at last for the interview.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Arun Choudhary: “I don't remember the topic particularly, but It was a generic topic and I was able to pen down my thoughts quite easily and it went well. The interview can be bifurcated into two technical ones consisting of questions related to engineering Mathematics, solving integration equations, driving electrical machines formulae, etc. And the second part was about politics and general awareness. They asked me about my views on newly elected Yogi Aditya Nath, his methodology of work, and his 5 good initiatives and 5 things that he needs to focus on to make UP great again.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Arun Choudhary: “I was able to solve the integration equation but I couldn't fully drive the electrical machines formulae which were really embarrassing but the other faculty came to my rescue by asking about politics and I could explain them really well about that very well.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Arun Choudhary: “I was the fourth person to be called inside the interview hall. I had no clue except that the faculty are chill who are taking interviews. But still, I was nervous, I greeted both the faculty members. The mode of the interview was offline. The entire interview duration was 35-40 minutes. It was not a stressful interview but quite technical.

If you are a fresher then thoroughly revise your graduation subjects and know about your hometown, home state thoroughly, and be aware of latest policies and government changes."
