Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Aman Karwa: “WAT was conducted for all the new IIMs shortlisted candidates. 100+ Candidates were present there. WAT was conducted in a Big Hall, with all the candidates seated there and around 5+ Moderators and invigilators. Total time for the activity was around 15 minutes”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Aman Karwa: "GST ? A blessing or curse?”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Aman Karwa: “Ideally, a model GST should have subsumed all indirect taxes (including central and state taxes) into one GST and not as separate CGST, SGST and IGST. However, the proposed law is still a welcome step as it subsumes many different taxes into three GST’s. This will bring down the overall compliance burden/cost and mitigate the problem of dealing with different government offices. Also, the model GST aims at a standard and supportive tax law across centre and all the states.”

Aman Karwa: “2 Panelist. Professors of new IIMs. Offline Mode. 10minutes. Normal Interview”

Aman Karwa: “Q1. Tell me about Yourself : I'm Aman. I come from a Marwardi Business Family. I have pursued BBA. I'm a sports Enthusiast, have played Volleyball at State level.

Q2. Why MBA? I have been surrounded by Business talks since i was kid. I wanted to be in Business, but not traditional Business. A modern and scalable Business, which is why i wanted to Pursue MBA. Gain relevant experience in the industry and then start my own Business

Ans. management refers to the activities involved in organizing, planning and supervising other people to accomplish a goal, mission or project. The key item in the definition relates to the organization and supervision of other people.

In contrast, administration to me refers to the several activities involved in supporting the primary services of an organization to help ensure that the services and organization are successful. The key item in the definition relates to the support of a primary service(s) of an organization.”
