What are your thoughts on the current education system? 

“The experiential approach to the educational system to make it more reliable for the career prospect”

The higher education system is ready to take a big leap towards achieving excellence par with global standards and with the implementation of National Education Policy. The key issues in NEP 2020 brought into focus are cognition, innovation, and multidisciplinary approach. Deogiri Institute of engineering and technology already has brought these initiatives into practice so that students will be ready for life outside the confines of the Institute. This has been done by the continuous improvement of all stakeholders.

Could you please highlight the functioning aspects of your college? 

“Skill development and personality growth of the students associated with the institute”

We give a lot of emphasis on the overall personality development of the students, through our Training & Placement cell. Providing internships to students, organizing seminars for students and faculties is another feature of the Institute. Training students for entrepreneurship and startups is another feature of the Institute. Ample opportunities for Sports and Cultural activities, NCC, NSS, etc. are available.

Which opportunities does your college provide to the students? 

“Work on bridging the gap of theoretical and practical learning of a subject to provide an experience”

What are the facilities provided by your college?

“The holistic atmosphere with the homely environment to provide comfort and foremost facilities”

Every college provides various facilities to its students. But we present a homely environment to them and bring in a sense of belongingness in them that they often don’t miss their homes and are very well attached to their second-home.

What are some of the future goals of your college? 

“To gain repute with offering our best determination towards students’ development and growth”

We would like our Institute to be one of the foremost Institutes for Technical Education in the region. Gradual improvement in the processes of imparting education so that our students are employment ready by the time they graduate is one of our future goals. The placement of all qualified students by the time they graduate is what we are aiming at. We would also be Identifying students who have a bent of mind to become entrepreneurs and will be providing training to them in this regard. 

What will be your advice to the students who are pursuing their under-graduation and post-graduation?

“Hard work would lead to the path of success”

Students are motivated to take the challenges of higher cognitive levels and work hard to achieve the skills to overcome those. Postgraduate students are the pillars of a research-driven ecosystem. Impactful research is the need of the growing Indian economy. So Postgraduate students should take focused efforts in their research to make it applicable to fundamental and societal problems to bring paradigm shifts.
