Founded in 1971, Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences, Germany (abbreviated as Technische Hochschule OWL or TH OWL) has three locations: Detmold, Lemgo, and Hoxteroffers. They offer over 30 undergraduate and 19 graduate programs in the field of Design, Engineering, Technology, Economy with around 175 professors working towards the welfare of the students.

- The International Office of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences has rooms in two furnished apartments for international students.
- Both apartments have three bedrooms, two of which are used as double rooms and one as a single room.
- The apartments are equipped with a furnished kitchen including a fridge, stove, and oven, bathroom, guest toilet, hallway with a device chamber, washing machine, balcony, and internet. The apartments are furnished (bed, wardrobe, table, chairs).
