Field of Study:
The concept for this degree program arose from one of the focal research areas of the departments of chemistry and physics at the Institute for Integrated Natural Sciences of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Both departments work on an interdisciplinary basis in the field of material properties and functional surfaces and are part of the Rhineland-Palatinate’s Metal - Ceramic - Plastic regional innovation cluster.
