Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate engineering degree of four year duration. 10+2 pass students with science subjects are eligible to take admission in this course. Admission in most of the colleges offering Civil Engineering is done though any of the entrance tests conducted at national and state level.

Average tuition fee for this course ranges between 2 to 4 lakhs in most of the public institutes and 3 to 6 lakhs in private colleges. However there are some government colleges which offer this course at very less tuition fee.

Admission is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The candidates desirous of seeking Admission in MIT are advised to appear in Screening & Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E.

 1. Candidate must have pass 10+2, Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi
 2. The 10+2, Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
 3.The +2 level examination in the 10 +2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central Board of Secondary Examination and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
 4.3 or 4 year diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as combination.
