Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT), Muzaffarpur is a premier institution of eastern India for technical education. It is under administrative control of department of science and technology and wholly funded by Govt. of Bihar. Established in 1954, MIT is one of the oldest technical institute in India. The foundation stone was laid by the first prime minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

The college is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. The college offers B.Tech at undergraduate level to the aspiring candidates who want to take up Engineering as their career.

Admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of marks obtained in Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.

MIT Muzaffarpur offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) to the candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. Admission in MIT for four years B.Tech. course is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is constituted under Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act, 1995 . An overview on MIT Muzaffarpur

Admission:

The admission process is based on JEE Mains Score. After the result of JEE Mains is declared, BCECE invites applications for Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC) and allows state rank/merit serial to students on the basis of which admissions are made. Application for UGEAC is available on the website of BCECE at a cost of around 1000 rupees. The reservation of seats is made for OBC, SC, ST, Reserved Category Girls, and Defence Quota applicants. Moreover, there is a Mop-up round of counselling also.

Great and affordable college

Admission:

It is a great college to do your B.Tech. One of the best colleges in Bihar. Total fee is also among lowest in India. Placement is average. Some students get placed at more than 10lpa in IT sector every year. Teachers are great. Infastruct is not over the top.

I am a student of M.I.T Muzaffarpur of Aryabhatta Knowledge University. It takes admission on the basis of JEE main score, after JEE result there is a form released by University which fees around rs1200, and for admission, we can apply the form in online mode and then a separate rank card is released and on the basis of this further counseling process takes place for admission in various engineering college in Bihar. To taking admission to MIT, Muzaffarpur which is the topmost engineering college of AKU, Patna we need a score of about 90percentile-General. 85percentile-obc. 70percentile-SC.

Top college in the bihar after NITs and IITs

Admission:

You have to give the jee exam or BCECE exam and score 90 per cent to get my course Information Technology because it is the top branch in my college. The application is available on the MIT official website but the separate counselling is through UGEAC another basic of jee percentile you can get college which is available in Bihar and the counselling fee is 1000. Reservation benefit is also available for SC/ST or EBC.

If you'll doing Graduation from bihar You have to do B-tech.

Admission:

No certain process there is admission going on through JEE percentile. There is a website BCECE which is Bihar engineering's official website, here we have to register and add jee marks, and admission is held. The application fee is almost 1200 or 1300, There is a very high Cutoff in the Information technology branch.
