Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years full-time B.tech lateral program should meet the following criteria as

Academic Requirement:

Passed Minimum 3-years / 2-Years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination in any branch of Engg. & Tech. with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category). OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the program)
For Kashmiri Migrants (KM) relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirement.

Admission Criteria:

Admissions in B.E./ B.Tech (Lateral Entry) shall be made on the basis of the rank/inter-semerit to be prepared by HSTES from the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
