Techno Main Salt Lake Admissions
The candidates who want to take admission in this institute must take part in any of the accepted entrance examinations. Below are the admission processes for all the courses offered in TISL Kolkata
- To take part in the counseling process for admission to the B.Tech courses a candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination and possess a valid score in WBJEE or JEE Main. The candidates will be allocated a seat based on their score in the entrance examination. 80% seats will be filled by WBJEE candidates, JEE Mains candidates will fill 10% of the seats, and the rest of the seats will be filled through management quota. For candidates with a Diploma in engineering, there’s also a provision of lateral entry in 2nd year via JELET examination.
- To take admission in the M.tech programs a candidate must have a B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline and must have a valid score in WBUT PGET/ GATE examination.
- To take admission to the MBA program a candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with a valid score in MAT/ JEMAT.

Techno Main Salt Lake Placements
The institute has a track record of good placement for B.Tech students. Similar to other technical institutes, TISL also has a dedicated placement cell which takes care of all the placement related activities inside the campus. Techno Main Salt Lake offers a scholarship named Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee Scholarship, the certificate of the scholarship gets issued by the former president of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee. No the admission process of our college is great as it provides nice faculty who would help you out when need help. Many scholarships are also sanctioned through college very easily. Overall the college is quite good.

There was no admission test but I went to that college by means of the Wbjee entrance exam which is applicable to all the colleges of West Bengal. At my time cut-off was between 5000-9000 rank or getting computer science.

I was enrolled through wbjee counseling. Students with a rank of more than 15000 are more likely to be eligible for the course. Application and necessary details can be found on the Internet. The admission process is smooth.

College is more or less quite good in Academics, here the students are very competitive. Here, from the second year several other courses are made compulsory such as Full Stack web development using PHP, and several others. The facilities are quite qualified, but they are very strict. Attendance of a minimum of 75% is followed strictly and failing to do so will cause trouble. The fees are the same for all streams, except for TFW, and the students from the Techno India group, get concessions. To be eligible to take admission you have to give WBJEE, and get a rank under 8K is a safe zone.

After completing my HS(higher secondary 10+2) I was given JEE and WBJEE, in wbjee I ranked 17k in the state list and hence opted for Engineering in a private college(non-autonomous). Then in the 2nd councelling, I got my chance in Techno Main Salt Lake, 130 in Electronics and Communication I knew as of my rank anything better than that in the college was visible impossible so I accepted the offer by paying the admission fees. And now I am a 2nd-year student there trying my best to achieve the most.
Admission:
You have to pass the web jee or jee mains exam with good marks and if your rank is good then you can get admission into this. During counseling your reservation criteria is also applied. And I think the college should me more transparent about the placements.

As I took direct admission, it was smooth for me. But I had to visit the admission office quite a lot of times which was a bit hectic. And sometimes the admission is wrong. A student who wanted admission to TMSL got admitted to TIU. This thing should be kept in mind.

In Techno Main Saltlake, there is especially an engineering college, under the MAKKAUT board. In my department there is 180 sit s are required for students (I am in the Information technology department). we found the application from college or online. yes, my college is the best and most disciplined college.

Make a good rank in wbjee or jee main if you want to take admission in b.tech in information technology. The application form and fee structure are available on the college's website. The faculties are awesome and very helpful.

First, you need to crack WBJEE or AIJEE examination. In Wbjee if you have less than 6000 rank, you will apply for the B.tech in Information technology. The application form and all the application dates are released according to the WBJEE Board time schedule. You also admit there by management quota.
