Balrampur College, Purulia

 Balrampur College, Purulia was founded in 1985 to provide higher education in the rural area of Purulia District. The area was dominated mostly by scheduled castes and other backward communities. The aim of the college is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need in this era of information and teaching. The College is a grant in aid institution of West Bengal Govt. The College offers under-graduate courses in Arts, Science and commerce stream.
