Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 years Full-time BE/B. Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate should have Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical subject as the third subject. The candidate must have a combined aggregate minimum of 50% marks in general category.
For backward class including backward class, including Muslim is 45%
For SC/ST/MBC/DNC is 40%.

Entrance Test:-

Admission is offered to TANCET qualified candidates only followed by university-based counseling (TANCA).
Single Window Counseling by Anna University, Chennai, as per their norms.

How To Apply for TNEA?

Eligible students can apply for TNEA by following the given steps for registration, with a fee of INR 500 (for general category) and INR 250 (for reserved category):

Visit the official website of TNEA and click on the “Online Registration” link.
Candidates need to first register by creating a login ID and password through an OTP verification.
After the registration, candidates can log in with their username and password.
Candidates will have to fill in personal details, academic qualifications, etc.
After filling the application form online, candidates can preview the details entered.
The application form should be submitted along with the fee and a printout should be taken.
