APS College of Engineering was established in 1997 by the APS Educational Trust, a widely known foundation with a glorious 65 years of service in the educational field through a chain of schools, pre-university and degree colleges. The trust has also started one other college in Bangalore, namely APS College of Commerce

APS College of Engineering, shortly known as APSCE is a co-educational private college, affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and accredited to the All India Council of Technical Engineering.

The college accommodates its students in a campus located in the suburbs of the city, located about 26km away from Bangalore, in Somanahalli, on Kanakapura Road. The college offers 5 undergraduate programs of 4 years under B.Tech – ECE, CSE, ISE, CV, Telecom. and ME and 2 undergraduate programs of 2 years under M.Tech – DEC and CSE.

The admission process for all courses is based on the qualifying entrance tests and marks secured on the 12th board exams/equivalent. Students who do not appear for entrance exams and counseling can apply by either filling in the application form present in the official website of the college or by visiting the colleges’ admission offices.

M.Tech	Duration: 2 years Eligibility: Must have passed B.E or B.Tech with an aggregate score of 50% for unreserved category and 45% for reserved category in relevant field from VTU or any other recognised university Specializations: Computer Science and Engineering, Digital Engineering and Communication

APS College of Engineering Admission

Admissions for all courses are done based on the ranks secured in the corresponding entrance exam for each course and the 12th board exam / equivalent qualifying exams.

For B.Tech courses, JEE Mains, KCET(Karnataka Common Entrance Test), and COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Undergraduate Entrance Test) are accepted.

For M.Tech. Program, GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test) and KPGCET (Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test) are accepted.

How to Apply?

Students are required to download the application provided on the official website.
All the mandatory fields are to be filled by the students with precision.
All students must download the application form and fill it by hand.
After completion of form – filling, students can either bring the form to the college in person or send it through the post.

APS College of Engineering Placement

The maximum placement percentage of APS College of Engineering is achieved 95%. Every year more than 40 companies visit the campus for placement, and hire them. The placement rate is 60% and about 75% students of APS have been placed in the campus itself. The placement department provides students with about 20 seminars and workshops every year. They are offered specific training.

APS College of Engineering Scholarships

Free Hostel Accommodation Scheme: All students belonging to the Category-1, Category- 2A, Category-3A and Category 3B are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Under this scholarship, students enjoy completely free accommodation for the whole duration of the course.
Prathibha Purskar Scholarship: Students who belong to the SC/ST/OBC/PWD communities related to the Category-1 with an annual income of INR 2.5 Lakhs or below and Category-2A, Category-3A and Category-3B with an annual income up to INR 1 Lakh are eligible to apply. All students applying must also have secured a minimum of 90% or below in their qualifying examinations.
Full Course Fee Scholarship: Students can apply to this Scholarship if their family income is less than 2 Lakhs for students belonging to the SC/ST communities and less than 1 Lakh for students belonging to the OBC/PWD communities.

APS College of Engineering Facilities

Library: The college has a vast and resourceful library with about 48 national and international journals and 24,000 volumes of books to help students with research and learning.
Laboratories: The college has 3 laboratories that have the latest equipment.
Sports: There are both indoor and outdoor facilities for sports. Students from APSCE are regular achievers in tournaments sponsored by VTU at the State and National Levels. There is also a multi-Gymnasium.
Cafeteria: The college canteen provides healthy and wholesome food. It caters to both students and the faculty. It has a variety of food including fruit juices and cold drinks. The college charges a total fee of INR 34,000 per year.
Hostel: The college campus has hostel facilities for men accommodating nearly 150 students. Students can choose the type of room from the available single, double and triple occupancy. The college charges a total fee of INR 69,000 per year inclusive of a refundable caution deposit and food charges.
Transportation: The college though situated 26kms away from the major city, is well connected by a fleet of buses. The buses travel around the city and pick up students from all the major residential areas in the city. Private buses like BMTC and KSTRC also have a scheduled stop in front of the college, making travelling very comfortable. The college charges a total fee of INR 24,000 per year with an exclusion for students travelling from APS Educational Trust, NR Colony and Yelachenahalli, Metro Station.

It is a wonderful course in it sector and i was pre-planned for higher studies and this course will make my walk on a flower.
Yes our college provide good internship and have a good contact between the companies.the companies are cane forward and choose good students from our college and interview the selected candidates and give them job

Dislikes

Placements are hard to come by as the companies that come are either startups or mid level companies.
They don't have single rooms it would be shared by at least 2 people and almost 4 people in a room.

I got here through kcet campus placement.The admission process was hassle free and went in a muvh detail oriented way.There are reservation benefis that are available which can be enquired.All these procedures are done in the admission or admin block of the campus which is situated as you enter the campus.
